"Breakfast on 10th floor was *terrible*."

"Property had no Air conditioning and staff was not very helpful and pretty much told me the building was old and to open a window. Not worth the money. I had to check out at 10:30pm and go to another hotel. Not a great hotel for business trips or ppl that like a temperature controlled room"

"The staff was very good: attentive, helpful, and very quick responses when needed. The rooms, though, were not great. The AC/heating unit runs 100% of the time and it is LOUD. Even when the unit was turned off using the wall control, the fan continued to run 24/7. "

"We have stayed at the Palomar in the past and were disappointed that they no longer provide robes and there is no longer a coffee maker in the room. No one wants to leave their room to get morning coffee.."

"Clean bed for the night in center city next to a ton of shopping/bar/restaurant options. Its a lil outdated and thin walls, but for the price and location - its all you can ask for. "

"I was able to check in early. The first room I was assigned was filthy and run down. Dust everywhere, excrement stains all over the side and back of toilet, rust and mildew in the tub, paint falling off the ceiling, stains on the sheets and walls, and hair everywhere. I went downstairs and noted the issue and was given another room. The new room was one 1.5 steps above the other on the cleanliness scale. Luckily i brought gloves, lysol wipes, and trash bags (they dont give you trash bags). I spent about 30mins making the room livable between inspecting the sheets to make sure they werent dirty (clean sheets this time and mattress covers) and cleaning the surface areas and bathroom. The beds are firm and pillows are lousy. I had to pile all 4 pillows together just to get any kind of next support. They gave me a credit for “The Art Bar” which we used for breakfast. The staff at the bar seemed like they were exhausted and ready to end the work day (it was 10am). We ordered breakfast sandwiches when we received them, they were burnt to a crisp with no flavor. There are 4 elevators but each morning it took about 10mins to get to the lobby bc they barely worked. Front desk staff was nice but overall, this hotel sucked. I will never ever stay at another Sonesta. Shut this raggedy place down and start over…"

"Great hotel but do not like the $28 "activity fee" and did not see any activities which this fee would cover. Breakfast was so slow it was not possible to order on the menu. I cant always eat so much as to need a buffet."

"Poor Wi-fi. Toilet didn’t flush. It took 3 calls for someone to answer the phone. Towels were dirty. You have to pay to park in their garage. Room furniture was old & worn. Staff was great though, very friendly & helpful. They were the saving grace of our stay there. "
