I was in a huge rush to get off of the interstate bc of a tornado watch. I sadly ended up at Quality inn North Platte. I recognize the rating for the hotel wasn't a 10 but I still expected for $130/night I would have a decent experience! It was absolutely HORRIBLE. The overall smell in the hallway was very musty and old. The hotel room I was in room 163 was extremely stinky. When I turned on the air conditioner to try and de-mustify the rm there was a disgusting dead rodent smell coming from the air conditioner unit below the window. It was absolutely PUTRID. In the middle of the night I finally had to turn the air off to stop pumping the dead rodent smell into the rm. There was a gap at the bottom of the hotel room door that was about 3/4 in wide so I could see a very clear/bright light seeping in from the hallway and hear every noise outside my door. At 4 am I couldn't take it anymore, I had to get out of there. I needed to shower and Ofcourse, the damn shower head was hanging by its cord!! I had to hold the shower head w/one hand in order to try and shower. The worst part was the water pressure was SO HARD I could hardly even shower!!It literally felt like the water was tearing flesh off my skin, and the tub wouldn't drain! There was a scum line at the bottom of the tub, it was clear it had been like this for a LONG time. I tried to talk to mgmt before I left and ofcourse they could not provide any refund and acted like they didn't know the rm was in HORRIBLE SHAPE!!
