"This really was such a beautiful and homely place to stay, couldn't have asked for better, with comfortable beds, plenty of living space with 2 lounges in the house, 2 bathrooms upstairs, and the annexe was perfect for the additional private space for my dad. We were 2 adults and 3 children in the main house. The garden was gorgeous with all the lawned area and outside seating for eating meals outside. A short walk into Holt and situated in a quiet area. Sheringham is close which we really enjoyed."

"We stayed at Sandpipers in Baconsthorpe, Holt for three nights in July 2026 and had a lovely experience. The cottage was quaint, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.Its location is excellent — peaceful and rural, yet perfectly positioned for exploring the surrounding countryside and the beautiful Norfolk coast. We found it easy to reach nearby villages, walking routes, and coastal spots like Sheringham and Cromer.A charming property in a great setting."

"Very quaint cottage and well equipped and clean. Very central in Holt with lots of lovely independent shops. The stairs are quite steep so had to be careful as we are older! It was quite cold one evening so had to turn on the heating and it got warm really quickly which was lovely. Had a bit of a job to connect the wifi as old information given but was soon rectified with a call to David. Parking rather tight for our car but we managed ok. A glorious rose on the wall outside, (wish I knew its name. ) All in all a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to go again."
