"I stayed at this property with other family members for 6 days. I was blown away. The food was amazing. The only negative experience was the trip to and from the airport. The pick up and drop off arrangements need to be a bit more consistent and professional to say the least. Thank you RIU Palace Aquarelle! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay. The welcoming was great and inviting. The room was clean, large and with the layout of the bathroom just right. We appreciated the view since it had a partial sea view and a view of the local homes next tot he property. We were on the 7th floor so the view was relaxing. During our time that we stayed many of the restaurants that are listed on the website was not availbale due to renovation and repairs. However, the Indian themed restuarant and the buffet was excellent. The only downside was I said yes to a 90 minute presentation after we had arrived. I wished that I had not done so, because I do not care for time share type of promotions. I was initially told it was not. My wife and I would stay here again only if the entire facility will be open and more restauarnt choices and beach access available. Ovarall a good stay for the three nights of stay."

"6/10 food 3/10 drinks and getting them takes a whikd 5/10 entertainment (we didnt have our kids so maybe the kids side was better) 10/10 Rooms 5/10 service (some employees are lovely but alot werent very personable or friendly) Very quiet resort, not busy so easy to get beds and chairs. Beautiful beach but its not the best beach sand for walking and swimming in unless you are in the boey area, water is so calm and lovely though. Cool that most rooms are beach front with pools too. Rooms are big and beautiful too Overall get nice rooms and a beautifuk property."

"We always hang out at the pool, it does need more shade, if they added umbrellas, it would be great. The staff in all the dinning were wonderful. All the staff were nice and helpful. Enjoy hanging out at Mike's in the afternoon for Chai Latte. Early mornings when it's quiet, I like walking the length of the pool or the lazy river. I also enjoyed feeding all the cats on the property."
