"Beware...if you buy online, you'll likely be disappointed. The general hotel pics show water views but the rooms and descriptions don't say which rooms face the water. I took a chance and I'm now sitting in a room facing the parking lot. At check-in, I offered to pay more to upgrade to a water view but since I bought it online, they refused to make a change even though they had water-view rooms available and I offered to pay more. Their response: "Call us directly next time." Lesson learned...there won't be a next time. And if you're concerned about security, the external doors at each end of the hotel do not lock."

"Room was clean. Breakfast was hot eggs and sausage day we were there. Basic, but nice place to stay in Reedsport. We would stay there again, if in town!"

"Based on the price, it was fine. We were super lucky and got an upgrade because the room type we reserved wasn’t available on arrival. It wasn’t the cleanest, one of the hot water heaters was out, there was a 1/3” gap under the exterior door, making the room cold, but the hotel staff was quick to bring a towel. I demonstrated the gap when she arrived by telling her to look down and see if she could see my finger under the door. Haha - that was so strange. She quickly understood the problem! Again the price and convenient location on our very long road trip made it worthwhile - but I wouldn’t stay again. "

"Parking was fine. Ants in bathroom. Had a loud punk concert in conference center going late into night (at least to midnight) that we were not advised of prior to check in. They ran out of towels and so we could not get the 3 we needed. The remote for TV did not work, we asked about it and they thought batteries were working fine, they were not. *First room had a broken door latch and chirping smoke alarm, they did move us to a room that did not have these issues right away."

"The place that we ended up with was not the unit we booked. Called the owner and found out our reserved unit went to someone else. We ended up in the mobile home at the back of the unit. It was clean but that was about it. Hot water had been turned off but my husband figured out how to turn it back on. Kitchen didn’t have the correct tools to hardly cook a meal. It’s like the owner took whatever was left over and put it in her rental. Couch was a futon and uncomfortable to sit on. Bed was old and too soft. Bathroom was small and cramped along with the shower. Good thing I only booked for one night. Icing on this cake was as we were leaving the other units dogs ran up to us barking and snarling. Their owner finally called them off. Worst VRBO rental ever. "
