"Garden Suite was lovely and beautiful bathroom (with TV screen set in the tiles!) Lovely quality breakfast. Allowed to leave dog in room, but not to take him into breakfast which was understandable. Our dog kicked off barking and we couldn't leave him. Massive thanks to Caroline in the dining room as she accomodated as seperately in a room overlooking the gardens so we could bring our dog with us into breakfast!"

"Lovely venue, great room, friendly and professional staff. It all started well with great parking and a warm welcome. Although the main building doesn't have a lift, the reception staff kindly helped with my case up the one flight of stairs (several up and down steps along the corridor - some steep). My room was spacious, dual aspect and everything you could need. The only tiny niggle was the cheap biscuits (but good quality tea bags!). These were incongruent with the otherwise high quality feel of the entire stay. The bed deserves a special mention. Spacious and excellent quality mattress and bedding, made it a very restful time. I ate in the restaurant that evening. Amazing food. Totally delicious. I also had breakfast. It was a clever mix of buffet (cold items) and plated (e.g. English breakfast). I liked the range of cold options including various cereals, yoghurt, porridge, toast and pastries."

"The staff were pleasant and helpful. However I must comment on your room description on the Expedia site, which stated that a double room was 323 sq ft. The room we were allocated was smaller at just over 200 sq.ft. There was no safe, as advertised on your room description and also, due to the room size the access to the wardrobe was restricted due to the dressing table partially being in the way. Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay despite the room restrictions."

"Having no idea where to stay in Holt, for a few days; I looked online and decided on The Feathers. I was not disappointed. Everything was really fine: The Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bedroom pleasant and comfortable. And what a choice for Breakfast. I did enjoy an evening meal there with friends. Obviously a popular venue with people; Service was efficient from a good Menu range. Thank you."
