"We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful villa — it exceeded all our expectations. The property is incredibly spacious, set in stunning surroundings that made for a truly relaxing getaway. The private pool was absolutely incredible, and the separate BBQ house made outdoor dining a real highlight of our trip.From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of. We were welcomed with a delicious hot meal of Pastitsio and a fresh Greek salad, which was such a thoughtful touch. Midweek, we were treated again to fresh local tomatoes and feta on the most delicious bread. The villa was cleaned mid-stay, with bedding and towels refreshed, keeping everything feeling comfortable and cared for.Emma and her family, our hosts, were fantastic — always available, super helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. She offered great restaurant recommendations and even helped with making reservations, which made things so easy for us.The surrounding area is charming, with plenty of little shops, bakeries, tavernas, and cafés to explore. A car is recommended for getting around, but taxi services are available, and food deliveries can be arranged if you’d rather stay in.We genuinely struggled to find a single fault — everyone in our group agreed this was the best villa we’ve ever stayed in. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and can’t recommend it highly enough."

"We had a wonderful week in Villa Myrtia. The villa is situated in the middle of a small village with bakery, pizza restaurant and grocery stores just a short walk away. The drive to Rethymno is about 10 minutes and we went there a few times in the week. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in Rethymno with some superb fish restaurants on the harbour. The villa was cleaned throughout including fresh towels and sheets twice during our 10 day stay which was much appreciated. George and his family were very welcoming and were on call when we needed them.We would recommend the villa for a family as all of us had a great time."

"Joanna is a very welcoming and incredibly helpful host. Our flight was delayed and we had problems with our hire car booking with Europcar - they wouldnt allow us to move it to the following day, so we had to cancel or incur the full cost as a no- show fee.I texted Joanna from Manchester airport asking for taxi and car hire recommendations. Within 20mins Joanna had arranged a minibus to pick us up from the airport at midnight and a hire car to be delivered to the villa the next day.When we arrived at the villa, Joanna had also left some food in the fridge for us.The villa was beautiful, very clean and had stunning views. We had a fabulous holiday - thank you Joanna. "

"Everyone had such an amazing time in Crete. The villa gave everyone everything they could want, lovely pool, games, evenings making pizzas and just overall an amazing villa with beautiful views. Such amazing communication from the villas team too as they were so helpful.Friends are already planning to stay again in the future. "

"Beautiful villa, owners were brilliant, a lovely welcome package which was extremely handy as our flight was delayed and didn't arrive at the villa until 1am. Full house clean and new sheets twice during our stay. We had a wonderful time. Car is recommended. "

"The photos do not do the villa justice as the views are amazing and is very private. We were two families with teenage children and it accommodated us all well. Lots of space and well equipt. Myron met us as we arrived and was on hand if needed when we messaged him. Would highly recommend the villa to anyone. Great taverna down the road who welcomed us like family and amazing food at very good prices. You do need a car as is remote but well located to visit the local towns. "

"Excellent stay for three families and grandparents. Three small apartments on ground floor (one double bedone single bed per appartment, one also with sofa bed). Two doubles and two singles on first floor. All rooms with air condition.The small (rocky) beach right below the house has amazingly clear waters, and the pool was great for our kids (7-11 years.). Only 100m to a great taverna (Mimi’s). Also near a really nice sandy beach with a beach bar/restaurant.From first floor, the ocean view is amazing, and we ate on the terrass several nights, at sunset. And the garden is beautifully kept.Only a few and minor ”complaints”. The family kitchen on the first floor is on the smaller side, and there is no fridge next to bbq area (a bit of a hassle to run up and down to fetch cold beverages). Also you need a car to get to a grocery store. But overall a wonderful stay, including hospitality from Petros and Katerina, and the two very cute ”house” cats (loved by the kids). "

"We had the most wonderful two weeks staying at Villa Danna. The accommodation was perfect and immaculate. The family were all on hand to assist with anything we needed and insisted on re-cleaning the house and emptying and re-filling the pool after a freak Saharan dust storm. We had three animal loving kids with us, who were thrilled that the family dog was nearby (a short walk across through the olive trees) for strokes and cuddles, and Rosie the cat was often asleep in the shade somewhere. We loved the pool, the eating areas, the upstairs balcony with incredible views of the sunset and the table tennis table got plenty of use too. It was a good walk uphill to the nearest taverna or shop, which was fine for the younger members of the party but tricky for anyone with mobility issues. It was a short drive into Rethymno to lots of bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again, after a wonderful two weeks of relaxation and sunshine. "
