With fully functioning and equipped facilities and a bonus 5 mins walk to the beach, we enjoyed every month and rested very well. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We had our own private patio and a back door that led right to the pool. The town and the people...

"Comfy, clean, spacious room with kitchenette, lovely clean bathroom and a balcony. The apartments are located behind the main drag so are nice and quiet. Nobody at reception when we arrived and room not ready so we had to busy ourselves elsewhere for a few hours. Thought we were paying by card on line but seemingly not - ended up paying in cash at the owners request. Overall - room really nice; service not bad but not great."

Top Preveli Beach Hotel Reviews

Alianthos Estate Resort - ex Alianthos Garden

8/10 Good

"Breakfast was amazing. The room felt new and modern, and was impeccably cleaned every day. I enjoyed the location right across the street from the beach, and close to all the shops in Plakias. I would not pay for the sea view patio again, as it was mostly a view of people’s roofs, unlike the photos online. The staff was so nice on check-in. They sat down with us and gave us fresh lemonade, which we appreciated. Later on, I had a few simple questions for the front desk and got responses from staff that were irritable and even condescending. Maybe everyone was in a bad mood since it had been raining, but in the weeks we traveled, it happened three times there, and nowhere else."

Villa Liberty with fantastic view, close to a farm in a traditional village.

10/10 Excellent

"Villa Liberty is a truly special place to stay, combining spectacular scenery, traditional Cretan charm and exceptional hospitality.Nestled above the village of Drimiskos, the villa enjoys breathtaking views across Crete's dramatic southern coastline. From the pool and outdoor seating areas, the sunsets are unforgettable, creating a wonderful sense of space, seclusion and freedom. Behind the villa, views of the village add a real connection to local life.A fantastic traditional taverna is just a 10-minute walk away, serving freshly prepared local dishes and, on occasion, live Cretan music, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The villa itself is beautifully decorated, blending traditional character with thoughtful vintage touches throughout. It feels spacious and comfortable and was perfect for the two of us. It is very well equipped and includes thoughtful extras such as olive oil and raki made by the hosts. The outdoor area offers both sunny and shaded seating. During our stay we experienced storms and heavy rain, but the covered outdoor space provided the perfect place to sit and enjoy the dramatic changing views. What truly sets Villa Liberty apart is the hospitality of Eleftheria. We arrived to a delicious home-cooked meal and were later treated to homemade cake. The pool was regularly maintained and the villa was also cleaned during our stay, adding an extra sense of being well looked after. We will definately return."
