There is no working internet in the room I had to sit in the lobby to get a signal that worked which is not acceptable. The facility has lots of potential but it looks like it’s been neglected for some time. Location is excellent close to Nice but yet far enough to stay away from the traffic and noise. Could use more towels for guest.

WIFI as part of the amenities, however, they could not keep it working and only did the minimum to try. Also be prepared to bring your own toilet paper, you get one small roll. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a large shopping mall with a large grocery stall about a miles walk. Close enough to a bus stop to get to Old Nice easily.

Great staff! The Hotel was not so clean, need some renovation in the rooms and deep cleaning. Excellent location, near the sea, great pool, maby some new sun beds, the old ones are very old.

Very near the airport, in fact you could actually walk there. Very quiet and well situated a couple of minutes from the beach. I was asked to pay a local tax when it was already included on the Expedia bill

Our accommodations were satisfying for our needs. The covered outdoor pool doesn’t open till mid April. We found the area a good central location to everything. We used the buses and trams to get around. Watch out where you walk on the side walk because dog poop is on it. They don’t pick it up.

Lovely Studio Apartment

The location of the property was very good. A short walk across a main road to a pebble beach. It was easily accessible from Nice Airport. A train from Nice St Augustin to St Laurent du Var then a short 15 minute walk to the accomodation. St Laurent du Var has excellent restaurants and shopping including the Cap 3000 Centre. It also neighbours Cagnes Sur Mer. Due to the closeness of the SNCF station it makes it an ideal base for day trips.

This property has a pool, nice and clean with a safe guard too, the rest has a lot to desire. It’s very old and the room where we stayed was smelly. Nice costumer service, the ladies were polite and knowledgeable. It’s in safe neighborhood and easy access.

Our stay at Pierre residences was very nice. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. There was ample parking, and located very close to everything. Amazing restaurants and bars were a very short walk away. All the rooms had kitchens so you can cook for a family. The pool was very large and the tennis courts were kept very clean. This is a great place to stay, and I took my morning walks along the water. Great time had by all.

We had a wonderful time, the reception staff was very helpful and friendly,the place gives a sense of community and togetherness but private nevertheless. Only downside was that some evenings if we wanted to have a late shower there wasn’t any hot water but as I understood from reception it was a malfunction of the heating boiler or something like that. We’ll come again, thanks for everything!

Very well-equipped holiday apartment with comfortable beds. Friendly front desk. Walking distance to many restaurants along the waterfront, and to public buses up on the hill. The building is older and feels a bit like a hospital or old people's residence, with swinging fire doors and dim lighting in the corridors. There was a slight fishy smell in the unit due to the general humidity. Bring your own toilet paper! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The staff at Heliotel are the best: helpful, informative, professional, brand loyal and discreet. Check in was seamless and staff dealt with a few room issues well and fairly. Customer service must be their goal which is superb. From the cleaning staff to the front desk, the staff are superb. Over a decade of coming here for often long periods, the staff and service at Heliotel make my decision to return easy. The apartment in November was warm. My Internet went down but within an hour was fixed by a competent wifi guy.. will return. Cons: older apt hotels need constant upgrading which Heliotel is doing

The front desk is inside the building which is gated and need access code. Fortunately some guest opened the door for us as I tried to call the front desk and got no response. The room was clean but the dishwasher in the kitchen was a bit beat up. The neighbor is quiet and it is located closed to restaurants and bus stops. It felt safe to stay there though the basement and corridor leading to the laundry room is a bit creepy.

The overall experience was good at this property. It was very convenient having the use of a pool in the hotel but also an apartment of our own. The area of the hotel which our room was in was very quite which was lovely. Just the sinks in the bathroom were blocked so using the sinks was a bit difficult and the hot water for the shower ran out after a couple of us having showers. Most of the staff were very helpful when asking questions which was great, just check in was available 3 hours after the time they said it would be. We arrived with young children after a flight and we had to wait around for our room to be ready which was a big bother for us. The hotel did say someone would contact us for compensation for the late check in but we never heard anything from anyone.

This is the most discusting place i have ever rented. The room was dirty and the smell in the room. The floor. The seiling. The horror. The horror. I imagine this is have it fells inside a dumpster. We were two adults and three kids. The to oldest, 10 and 14, couldnt sleep because of the smell. It was horrible. And what to do? We arrived 1845 and the staff split at 19. So there we were! All windows open all night. Baby half eaten by moscitos. The State of this hotel. My god. Lights out outsider the room. Hard to fit Keys in darkness. The floors, the doors. Well this was just adding to the horrible experience. Next morgning: confronting the staff with the smell! Which was still there….. “Well its all fixed by computers so no reduction in price, no nothing: good day. Godspeed!” This is just a discusting place. Keep away!

This place is perfect for a certain type of folks. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated its affordability. Not much A/C and comfortable with no frills, except for the great pool area. Kind and helpful staff. Safe, quiet and lots of families. If you’re not high maintenance you will think it’s perfect.

A Bit Worn

The place is a bit worn, including the exterior, common areas, and pool area. The apartment is okay. Strange cleaning routine – even though cleaning is included, you still have to clean the kitchen and do the dishes yourself, even though they don’t provide or sell dishwasher tablets or other cleaning supplies.
