Lucien Barriere in Nice

"We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us suggestions of places to eat and such. The hotel is basically a few steps from the promenade by the beach and super close to the Place Massena. The tram and train station are located close by and also many great restaurants and superb shopping, including the mall with many stores, Galleries LaFayette and a ton of shops and souvenirs shops near the hotel. We didn’t do the breakfast because it was a bit overpriced and instead we walked to the local boulangerie and it was great! We highly recommend this hotel, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the view from our room was spectacular!"

"The hotel was very noisy, with a lot of noise coming from the restaurant next door, the room above, and running water through the pipes. The rooms are very basic, and both the bedroom and bathroom are very small. The only positive aspect is the good location"
