Cosette and I thanks you so much for your nice review. Standard room is one of our smaller room, bathroom is small but convenient for using. We preferred a larger room where guests are spending more time.We are working a lot to offer numerous services that no other hotels are offering.

After many abuses we have been forced to be less flexible; we are a small hotel with only 7 rooms, it is impossible to stay 24/7. Working 14 hours a day is not acceptable. That the reason why we send at least 2 messages or more to remind to our guests the conditions (when we have a contact). Conditions are also explained on the website and your reservation. We were delighted welcoming you and as usual we are dooing all our best to satisfy our guests.

What an unexpected comment.You don't say the truth.You made a reservation for 1 night. On website, on reservation and on the first mail we sent you 14 days before arrival, you had all information for the check-in. You never answered to the first mail, we sent you 3 other one with no answer!You had possibility to cancel your reservation if you did not agree with policy which is :Arrival are before 7:00pm, exceptionnally late arrival are possible with confitions (3 night stay, advise us 72 hours before arrival, flight or train number) and no arrival possible after 09:00pm.You did know evrything!You did not care and did not advise us; it is your responsability.We are sorry if you did not want to read and answer but it is not our responsability as we advised you 4 times by mail.All condition are on website and is responsability of each guest to read!You came at 09:30pm when arrival are not possible anymore. What is real strange, it is then you were able to find my private mobile phone which is only on mails. I answered and explain you again conditions, nicely and politely. I was totally friendly even if you were not.We are working very hard to offer the best we can for all our guest, And we did it as well for you.

Cosette and I thank you for your return. As mentioned, we are a small hotel with only 7 rooms in a building. The sign is necessarily not as big. You had the address, which makes it easier to find. Entrance is simply by ringing the hotel bell. The B&B category does not exist in France. As for the mosquitoes, we are sorry even if we are not responsible. At this period normally there are no more mosquitoes, but unfortunately with the climate change, they are still present. On the other hand, you had a mosquito device in your room, which you could plug in. We always do everything for the comfort of our customers.

How can you leave such a dishonnest comment! Your wife came to check-in at around 11:00am, she said that the hotel changed completely, I explain that it is not true since I am the owner since 2010! She said she would see her husband (you) in the car and come back! She never came back. You called expedia to cancel the reservation with no fee despite of the cancellation policy. You came at around 3:00pm for the same, being impolite and threaten me to call american express! We are not responsible if you don't read the description very complete of the hotel on Expedia, and you made a mistake! We are not responsible if you decided to change your mind and cancel at last minute! we are not responsible if we apply the cancellation policy as you accepted them at reservation made in june! And compare a beautiful building of the begining of the 20th century as a dungeon is ridiculous!

We are working very hard to offer the best service we can and we are disapointed that we did not succeed for you. Cleanliness is our first goal and with the pandemy we reinforced it by sanitizing room. We do leave windows open all day long to renew air in the room. All windows can be closed, we do not understand why you were not able to close it (we checked and there was no trouble). Your room was facing the boulevard Victor Hugo not so busy at night and your room was overlooking a garden before the street even if we are in the center of a city. Since the beginning of the pandemy we do serve a large "a la carte" breakfast as we are not allowedd to serve Buffet. We offer many different choices as eggs (hard boiled, scramble, or fried), ham, different sort of cheese, fruits, yogurt, large choice of tea and coffee and so much more; always complimentary . Satisfaction of our guests is the most important for us.

If the buffet breakfast is not possible, we offer it à la carte with an even larger choice; 3 kinds of Nespresso coffees, 7 kinds of teas, hot chocolate, orange juice, croissants, pains au chocolat, 2 kinds of bread, choice of jams, honey and nutella, yogurt (plain or with fruit), fruit salad, eggs (hard-boiled, scrambled or fried), ham, 4 kinds of cheese, muesli, corn flakes, fruits ... We are glad hearing we succeed offering you our services and we are looking forward to the pleasure of seeing you soon.
