Nice hotel, very friendly staff. I like the decore but the hard surfaces do mean the noise travels. Breakfast was good and the roof terrace is a nice touch.

Excellent, room was a bit basic but had everything needed including a safe and the complementary water was much appreciated! Only a short walk to the train station or Promenade. Would definitely visit again.

Perfect Hotel. Its basic but perfect for a weekend break. Location was great! Not far from sea front, shops, restaurants, and tram. Hosts were lovely and helpful. Shop just 1 minute away. Really good pizza place 'dolce momento' im the same road And minutes from the hustle and bustle Id recommend and stay again

Graet little hotel

It is a small hotel with a small lobby but they do it right. Friendly service and it was very clean. They have a nice rooftop area. For the price, it was perfect.

Excellent Stay

Great, little hotel. Short walk to the train station and an easy five minute stroll to the promenade. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Numerous cafes, bars and bakeries in the neighbourhood. Road was a bit noisy but was quick to quiet down later in the evening. We would stay again.

We loved our stay at Les Cigales! The front desk was incredibly helpful with outlining the city's walking points at check in and with scheduling early morning taxis for check out. We needed a three person room, and it was perfectly situated for all three of us. Heads up that laundry access is nearby, but not in the actual hotel. A lovely, comfortable hotel that we will return to if we are fortunate enough to return to Nice.

The room was clean and comfortable. The "city view" was actually a street view. This meant that we couldn't open windows or look outside because we were right on the street in a city. They should differentiate such views. One floor up was the room I expected. A room looking outside on a nice part of Nice. Instead we had cars, people right outside etc... Also having to pay to leave bags after checking out was bizarre and petty. The staff were helpful. The location was central.

Good location

Really nice location, great walking distance to everything and the hotel i situated in a quiet neighboorhood. Helpful staff. We thought that the room itself was nice and good sized, however a bit dark since the rooms' window is small so you don't get much daylight and the choice of wall color makes the room quite dark. They should really have real cups (not in paper) in the rooms,since it feels super wasteful to use a new paper cup every day. The cleaning was ok, they do not change the towels everyday but you have to ask for it- which is good from an enviromentalpoint of view. On our last day, we discovered that the cleaning person had forgotten to lock and close the door to our room for a couple of hours- leaving it open for anyone to enter into our room- which is unaccepable, given that we did have a lot of valuable items in our room. Nothing was stolen but this has never happened at any hotel we ever stayed at.

Review of Hotel Les Cigales

This hotel is a good choice for a short term stay (no longer than a week). The good benefits we had is that this hotel had car parking availability which is very hard to find in this area. As well as the location was ideal, not far from most attractions and shops. The receptionist was very nice at our check in and check out, guided us with what to do in the city and so on. Overall the stay was great for 1 night just to sleep.
