"The rooms were clean but there was no housekeeping available during the three nights of our stay. We had to ask for more milk and tea which was not a problem. No breakfast was available, but dinner was. This was of good quality for the price. The rooms are slightly tired, but probably suffering from lack of use during Covid restrictions. "The 2010 golf course is a great design, a real challenge and was in amazing condition following the long hot summer. The room was well appointed with a comfy bed. The staff were all fantastic and oh so friendly and helpful starting with the doorman on arrival. Dinner in The Grill was good although it was disappointing how many restaurants were closed in September. Overall a great experience."

"Nice hotel, very central, and great to have onsite parking which even though cost £18 was still cheaper than any other carpark around. It does need updating and some TLC but our room was clean and everything we needed for a good night's sleep, after all we were out all day and just needed a base. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also good value for money"
