The Club Wyndham Long Wharf was in the perfect location for a walkable Newport stay. We appreciated the extra space with the large spacious living room and 2 bathrooms as we had our 2 year-old and mother in law with us. My daughter participated in one of the activities they offer at the resort and absolutely loved it. Altogether clean spacious stay and great for small children.

Property was well located & we walked almost everywhere. Ubers were abundant. Property is older but Beds comfortable, suite very clean & housekeeping was available with fresh towels when we called.

Impressed by cost and location was wonderful

Close to downtown so very convenient to be able to walk downtown. The room was spacious and clean. My son loved the room and the indoor/outdoor pool was warm even in April. Unfortunately we were not able to utilize the game room because it was being painted. I would recommend to friends and family to go here.

Offers everything

We love Newport and this property has it all. Location, pools, activities for the kids, free parking and spacious rooms. The hotel was doing renovations when we were there and they had some major problems that could have ruined our vacation. The Wyndham and KOALA took care of everything and saved our trip and made what could have been a bad experience into a positive one. We will definitely go back!

Nice upgrade

We were booked at the Wyndham Long Wharf but or reservation was moved to the Wyndham On Shore when we arrived. There was no heads up in advance which is a little frustrating as we were traveling with our two year old. The On Shore location was great and we had a nice room with two balconies and a great view of the harbor and adjacent marina. The property was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place and would stay there again. I think the On Shore location probably a better location than Long Wharf. We had a great stay.

Very Spacious and Great price for Newport

We had a very large 2 bedroom unit on 2 floors. The apartment was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and hot tubs were closed due to construction so that was disappointing. The staff at long wharf were exceptional- friendly and very helpful. The only downside is the thin walls…you can hear everything and since we were there over st Patrick’s weekend, it was very noisy from apartments on both sides.

Beware property reservation is not guaranteed

Host called on arrival day to say they were oversold and I would be moved to another property of their choosing. Know when you book and pay for this property you may not be staying there. Host is not trustworthy to deliver your booked room so only reserve if you are willing to accept whichever proprety they ultimately decide they want to offer when you arrive. This didn't work for me and my family so cannot book again in future.
