Cozy place everything we need and in great walking distance to all the shops and stores on Balboa Island. Price was great, was a little cramped for 3 people, 2 adults and daughter, but otherwise had everything we needed for mellow vacation stay.

The Charmer was Charming!

We are from the area so we knew we wanted to be on Balboa Island. It was the perfect location! The price was reasonable and it had all the amenities and then some! We really, really enjoyed our stay!

2nd stay and loved it even more!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as good if not better than the 1st time. The location is great! We were there for Memorial weekend so it was a little busy but if you are good with walking parking isnt a big deal. Place is clean, host is awesome and super close to main strip on Balboa. This place is perfect!

Great Location and Awesome Place

Been to Newport a bunch of times but this was our first time staying on Balboa Island. Was super happy with the price with the location and how awesome the place was. Main street was a short walk and parking was easy to find but it was Nov so not many visitors. The place was clean and had everything you need, really loved it and can't wait to stay there again!!!!

Great Location

The location of this unit is perfect. It’s very close to walk to anywhere on the island, and there are several restaurants about 5 minute walk away. We were always able to find close and convenient parking. No problems at all, it was a great stay!

Super convenient, prime location!

This was perfect and very spacious for my solo visit and it is incredibly close to everything. Walkability was key as I didn't have a car. Thank you, Cheryl!

We enjoyed using the wood burning stove. The smell was amazing! My family are runners so we loved the 2 1/2 mile loop of the two islands! We’d wake up early and set out on the beautiful paved trail. I miss it already!

Girls trip

I wanted a place that was walkable for my 7 yr old niece & myself. We wanted to be close to the beach & also less than a 30 minute Uber to Disney land. This little spot was perfect :)

Amazing Stay

I could not say enough wonderful things about the space, my host, and the amenities that were there. The description was perfect. Walking to restaurants, shops and the ferry was perfectly described. The space is perfect for a single traveler or a couple. Again, this space made my vacation to celebrate my birthday one of the best trips I've ever been on.

Great place and location

I come to this great little place once or twice a year. It's close to town. I love just relaxing and walking around the island and shopping is great. The bed is comfortable and so is the sofa sleeper. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Great hostess as well. My favorite place.

The owner Cheryl and her son Henry were so gracious. Cheryl's son helped us with our luggage as there was unexpected construction in the alley; designated unloading area. The apartment was charming, decorated with the proximity of the ocean in mind. Cheryl thought of every little thing that one would need; such as a beach umbrella and chairs. My daughter Anna and I had a fabulous visit to the Newport Beach area; this sweet apartment was close to everything that we planned to do. I want to come back and bring my husband. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect getaway

This property was even cuter than the pictures! Peaceful and quiet, full kitchen, working fireplace and lots of natural light. Only note is that the mattress and pillows were very soft. We will 100% be returning

Family vacation

This is an adorable property. It was filled with comfy sheets, pillows and blankets which is really important to me. It’s in a beautiful little area of balboa island. My daughter and I slept on the couches so that my mom could take the bed, and we were all comfortable. We were so happy we stayed here and I would recommend to anyone!
