"Good stay in a location in Fremont (here for a wedding) that was convenient to us and everywhere we needed to get to. Took us a hour to get to downtown SF for site-seeing, but we expected that… we chose this hotel because it was near wedding venue, not SF. Room was clean and spacious for two. Basic but nice amenities. I liked the outdoor garden areas and the “California feel” while speaking around the property. Didn’t use the pool. I asked for a late checkout because of a wedding that we were attending on the day of checkout, and the staff was helpful and polite but couldn’t guarantee it so that was a big stressful. In the end it worked out, but was a bit touch-and-go for a while there. Overall, a great fit for us at a good price point. Would recommend if you need to be in Fremont. "

"This property is uniquely located along the San Francisco Bay and once was the gem of the peninsula. In its hay day it was regarded as one of the finest hotels with extraordinary service, amenities, food, and views offered by any hotel conglomerate. However, due to a lack of maintenance and care it has started to become dilapidated. The faucets drip, the plumbing clangs, the doors slam, the bathroom tile is cracked, the hot tub is non-operational, the gym is sparce and the food is subpar. Thank goodness the view still hasn't changed. The staff is kind but that doesn't make up for the lack of amenities, poor and expensive cuisine, and the constant police response to the property for some unknown disturbance. The website shows photos of the property from an era that has long disappeared. This once exquisite property needs a refresh."

"I had a great stay at this Hyatt. The hotel was clean and the staff were nice and friendly. One of the staff at the front desk by the name Allen/Allan was really helpful with whatever questions I had. Breakfast was great too! The hotel was really close to San Jose airport, like 5 minutes drive and easy access to highway. Even though it was close to the freeway and airport, I couldn’t hear the noise at all. Would definitely stay here again."
