The room was fairly clean, but it had very little furniture and storage. It was also hot, and I was unable to change the temperature, despite two calls for someone to fix it. The bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel was really nice and convenient, with plenty of good restaurants. Overall, this hotel has not been my favourite in New York but I would stay there again if needed.

The hotel has an unpleasant perfume scent. The lobby was small and under construction. This was not noted when placing reservation. The lobby was colder than being outside.

The only reason you want to stay here is because it is just 50 steps away from Times Square. The rooms are tiny and the number of towels & soaps were minimal. There were issues with the elevators as well, and only two were working out of four. The Manager and Receptionist were very welcoming. I didn't have a good experience with the bellman when I was checking out. We had a lot of luggage and, therefore, asked for help from the bellman. The bellman used the service elevator, which was different from the regular elevator. Since all the elevators were not working properly and a lot of people were checking out, it took us half an hour to reach the hotel lobby. The bellman demanded money for keeping our luggage in the storage area and then alleged that I was lying it took us so much time to get downstairs. To be honest, I would have given him the tip but the whole experience left a sour taste. I confronted the Manager. She apologized and refunded me the money. Again, it was not about the money but his pathetic attitude and accusation that disgusted me.

I’m overall satisfied with my recent 1-week stay at this hotel. I think the location is the biggest pro of this hotel as it situated near Times Square, theatres and many other attractions. A part of the lobby was under renovation when I was there, aside from that the ambiance was nice. HVAC is controlled centrally, therefore I couldn’t set a higher degree on cooler nights. There was no in-room coffee/tea or minibar, as a matter of fact the room was small and there was no enough space even for the safe which a technician brought later so he had to place it vertically on the floor inside the closet, but there were water dispenser and ice machine on 4th floor. Staff was kind and welcoming, especially thank Rudy the front desk agent for his friendly and helpful attitude. Sum up to give a constructive feedback; amenities can be improved and the policy of charging fee for luggage storage can be reviewed; even the current pricing is not consistent, for example, it was stated that the storage fee is $2 per bag on the e-mail I received the day before the check-out but I was charged $3 per bag. Thank you.

After check in, went to the room and noticed that we didn't have any wash clothes, no refrigerator and if you requested one it was an additional $20 that's insane. I called housekeeping to come clean the room and give us new sheets and they never came smh.

This is an excellent hotel that is reasonably priced for New York City. That is particularly amazing since it is right off Times Square in the heart of the theatre district. The room was small and basic but very clean.

The bathroom was very outdated: toilet was the same as a public restroom toilet; bathroom sink was a metal sink on four legs; no counter space except a small niche ledge. No cups, microwave or refrigerator in the room; lobby and hallways very dimly lit; noticeable water stains on ceiling.

The lobby was completely under construction and we were not informed that this would be taking place during our visit. Rooms were sparsely outfitted-no extra pillows, bare walls, no control over HVAC, outdated fixtures. Glad we were only staying two nights.

Honestly they don’t help with early check in even if you have kids , also you have to pay 2$ per luggage and bag for them to hold it if you don’t have a room, and then they charge 3$ per luggage / bag for check out if your flight is later than check out . The bathroom wasn’t that clean honestly!!

Paramount is in one of the best locations in Times Square and the Theatre District. The highlight was Natalie at the front desk who is absolutely incredible! The only cons were the TV was not working so Maintenance had to come up to connect some wires but it was all done quickly. The ice machine was not working on the 4th so had to go down to the Lobby Bar to get ice. Then there is the elevators, which are a problem at pretty much every hotel in NYC so the Paramount is not the exception. You literally could wait 10 minutes to wait then the elevators full so you should just take the elevator whether it’s going up or down so you can be on it. Even with all this, with Natalie and the other amazing staff I would stay at The Paramount again since it is so walkable to everything.

The room was tiny. Even though 2 bottles of water come with the room, you have to request it at the front desk. No hand towels. No in-room coffee. Understaffed front desk. Mediocre at best.

The stay was…fine. Our room was, not at all, as advertised and was tiny to say the least. After the first night of dealing with heat in the room, Maintainence discovered that the AC unit was not even plugged in. The staff was helpful when engaged and the location was great though.

There were only three electrical sockets to plug items into, and 2 out of 3 did not work. The drawers in the “closet” can’t open more than 2 inches, because they hit the closet door. One of the lightbulbs over the bed was out. Over all not what I was expecting and very, very different from the pictures on the booking.

I’ll start by saying the location is amazing close to time square but down enough the noise is drown out,a parking garage is a short 5-10min walk 2 blocks over. There is a bar located in the hotel off the lobby the staff at the bar are friendly but the drinks are expensive. There is also a cafe off the lobby very! Expensive $47 for two coffees and muffins. As for the rooms between the 5 of us we had 3 rooms when I booked our 2 rooms I booked queens but we were given double beds not the end of the world and not worth the back and forth at the front desk and definitely not with Expedia (there useless). The rooms are okay pretty quite ac worked great, hot shower, and clean bed. On day 2 we woke up to a cockroach in our room. We went down to the front desk and the lady working wasn’t fazed by it she gave us the option of a manager coming up to the room to spray or she had one and only one available room we decided to change rooms. We had no other problems after that with cockroaches. In our room the shower has no lip at the bottom and very little pitch to the drain so when the shower is on it runs down the curtain and all over the bathroom I tired making a dam with towels it sorta works I asked the house keeper about it she said oh well, so I said oh well my recommendation is todo the same and once your done in the shower throw the towel down and sweep it over to drain.
