Step out onto the porch and soak in the hot tub, make your favorite meal in the charcoal grill, or just relax with a fire in your fire pit! Avenwood Cabins offers private cabin getaways in the beautiful Wayne National Forest. Our woodland escape ensures relaxation while providing modern amenities. Each cabin boasts state-of-the-art hot tubs with a view of the forest, queen-sized beds for guest comfort, air conditioning for those warmer months, WIFI and Roku-equipped televisions to keep you connected, and of course a pet-friendly environment for your fur babies!

It’s a clean place and we just used it for sleep. The hot tub was not hot and finding the cabin was tricky.

Cute little place

Super cute little cabin. Everything was very clean. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Only wish the shower was larger and there was more stirage. No place to hang clothes or places for toiletries. But enjoyed the cabin very much. Would stay here again.

Anniversary weekend

Was a quiet and relaxing weekend. Hot tub was not up to par and the cover was difficult to deal with. Our water pump burnt out Saturday morning, but maintenance was quick to replace it. Definitely needs better dishes and some dish soap on site would be appropriate.

Basic needs meet. I could make some recommendations for a better stay like : shortening the shower curtain so its not dragging inside the shower to trip on and a differnet shower head (theres no escaping being constantly sprayed in the face), the hot tub top basically falls out the aide of the balconey if you are not careful, and the bedroom needs a bedside lamp .

Nice but needs some tlc

Nice cabin,but just needs better furnishings and kitchen utensils and dishes,there was no bbq grill and the coffee pot was terrible,the property was fine but very steep drive.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy. The hot tub was wonderful. Shower is tiny and matress dips in the middle (but that just made us snuggle more). Overall it was the perfect getaway!!!

This cabin was almost perfect. It was very cozy and private. We could have used some more dishes and utensils and definitely a sharp knife but we made it work. The only real issue was the shower was very small. There was no room to get out of the water to soap up. This could possibly be better with a movable shower head. Overall we had a great weekend stay. Thank you.

Overall a good experience!

The cabin itself what's clean but the hot tub needed a good cleaning to the point that we didn't want to use it. They're also was no grill as shown. Also if you're thinking about renting it the shower is very very small. Otherwise it was a great location in the cabin itself was pretty.

Short getaway

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. I kept reading reviews even most recent and had concerns . One review in May said no grill. Well I brought a portable one . Guess what ? There were 2 grills. One of which was very clean. There was even extra wood for fire pit . But since it was soo hot and dry we didn’t build a fire. Was very leary of the drive into the complex . Once you get into the drive into the cabin all was well . We had a death in the family and cut things short. Overall I would stay again but in the fall .
