"The Lakota is a beautiful designed and nicely furnished cabin in a wooded location adjacent to Hocking Hills State Park. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It has a wrap-around porch, comfortable outdoor seating and good lighting. We did not use the hot tub that was on the back porch, but a slight problem was that it made the interior of the house vibrate pretty much constantly. A couple of negatives: the lock box entry was not easily maneuvered. We could not get the DVD player to work;...

"Great location for hiking, not too far off of 33. We recommend bringing some bottled water if you aren't used to drinking off a well. Plenty of activities/games if you're stuck inside on a rainy day."

"Beautiful property! Private. Enjoyed the hot tub and gas fireplace. Some inexpensive items that would have improved our experience would be a night light for the bathroom and a dish rack. We couldn't find the remote for the tv and could have used more towels. I liked that hand soap and dish soap were available."

They even allowed us to check in a little earlier when we thought the weather was not going to cooperate with our plans. "We enjoy four of the surrounding lakes, Lake Hope, Fox Lake, Burr Oak lake, and Rose Lake. Rose Lake was the most serene, most beautiful, and most fishes caught even in the rain. We definitely will fish there again."
