While this is an older property, it is well maintained. We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit for our stay. Although the decor was older, it was well kept, clean and had good amenities, including a kitchenette with a full oven. It was a straight shot down the road to the cbd and was easy to find on arrival into town. We would happily stay here again.

We’d happily stay there if ever came this way agai

Comfortable Clean Safe accommodation. The Room was upgraded to a 2 Bedroom apartment at no charge while it might have been 3 Star Accommodation but the proprietors service was 5 Star.

We got free upgrade to the ground floor and the studio was very spacious.Clean and well maintained.The kitchen comes with cooking pots and cutleries.Parking is at door step which was very conveinent because it was raining there when we stayed.The condition of studio was outdated but they kept it neat and clean.

We had a really great stay at this motel! The room was very spacious, clean, and to my surprise, it had two toilets (rm14), which was really convenient for our family. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience, and I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and hassle-free stay in New Plymouth.

Great area for motel. Unclean on arrival stayed 4 nights. The bed was nice. Clean sheets but the dishes had not be cleaned at all. The room did not get cleaned at all with our stay.

Mixed feelings

It was reasonably comfortable. We were a couple and there was mostly only appliances for one person eg. bowl, glasses, cutlery and no can opener. We were expected to wash dishes in the bathroom basin, hardly hygenic. One window wouldn't stay where you opened it to but flew right out. Bed was comfortable, good lighting and it had Sky tv.

Nice convenient motel

Convenient location.. spacious room. Friendly owners. I did however had my towel accidentally taken by cleaner as i took 1 of my own grey towels as stayed 3 nights but i didnt know there would be daily towels changes, so i had to go buy a new towel. Apart from that everything was great. Will stay again

I would have given a 5 star over all, except the most important thing. THE BED! The mattress was so uncomfortable, I slept poorly and woke up with a terrible aching back. No complaints about anything else, check in was a breeze and the people are extremely nice. Aside from the bed, everything else was 5 star.

For what we were in New Plymouth for, the location was awesome. However, if you dont have a ton of data on your phone for playing music to listen to, or whatever. This is probably not the place for you. It is a 1st world problem, but there is no WIFI, even though it is "free", it kept dropping out for us. In unit 1. Otherwise, the location is good for events at Pukekura Park

The property is very quiet, safe and parking is right in front of our Flat. Supermarkets and Shops are just down the road.We ordered Takeaways from Deliver Easy because it is more convenient for us , but there are Diners not far from where we are staying. My husband likes taking walks in the evenings around the block and he has not encountered any problems so far while out walking. We love the place and the Management is very welcoming and approachable. We denied Room Service but they still brought us clean towels. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting New Plymouth. We will definitely stay here again next time we come. Faafetai tele lava.
