Love the huge window with a great view of the spines formations and balloons, not to mention the 680-sq ft , spacious room. Hotel’s back has multiple, large terraces where we can enjoy breakfast, or sit on comfortables lounge chairs (some hanging) to view the tall/thin spines in the surroundings and sunrise. It felt like living in a paradise. Restaurants with most delicious food and Uchisar Castle are within walking distance. Friendly and helpful hotel staff gave great recommendations of restaurants and attended to our needs (sometimes even proactively). The tours which we booked and airport transfer all picked up and dropped off at the hotel. Will definitely come back and stay here again.

Relaxing stay

We had a great time at the hotel. The service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel also arranged a private tour for us after our tour company failed to pick us up for the Green Tour. I think it turned out for the best as the private tour allowed us to see the highlights of both the Red and Green Tours on our own. We stayed in the suite with the sauna and pool - the room was clean and comfortable.

We have just had a wonderful 2 night stay in the Karlik Cave Suite Hotel and highly recommend it. Ali, Ese and the staff team are so friendly and helpful. We were instantly relaxed by their welcoming approach and wished we could have stayed longer. The views and terrace areas are beautiful, the location is fantastic, our room was wonderful and breakfast was a real treat. We loved the Karlik. Thank you Ali, Ese and staff team, we hope we can stay with you again in future.

This hotel turned to be a true diamond in the rough. The rooms are amazing with just very creative layouts. We booked two rooms and they each had unique layouts that were equally tasteful and comfortable. The views of the Pigeon Valley are spectacular from the patios outside of the rooms. The breakfast buffets are brought to each table and are plentiful as well as scrumptious. Uchisar castle is just a stone's throw from the hotel and has probably one of the best view's of Capadoccia. Highly recommend this property to anybody visiting the region.

From the moment we stepped into this boutique cave hotel, we knew it would be a truly special experience. The room we stayed in was carved directly into the stone, blending modern comfort with authentic Cappadocian charm. The vaulted stone ceilings and traditional Turkish carpet created an atmosphere that felt both historic and luxurious. The centerpiece of the room was the oversized soaking tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the fairy chimneys and valleys of Cappadocia. The rustic details—such as the fireplace, hand-carved décor, and distressed wood furnishings—added warmth and character. Despite the ancient setting, the hotel provides modern amenities: a minibar, complimentary tea and water, and thoughtful touches like plush towels. The lighting design was especially beautiful, highlighting the stone textures and creating a cozy, romantic mood. What makes this place unforgettable, however, is the sense of staying in a space that feels timeless yet comfortable. It’s not just a hotel room—it’s part of Cappadocia’s history. The staff were very friendly & they serve a full Turkish breakfast which they beautifully lay out for each table every morning. The view from the dining area was amazing! The Panoramic room we had was good sized & the bathroom was very spacious. There was a lot of storage space. What I loved the most was the hot tub that was so relaxing after a long day of touring/hiking! They should put an optional black out shade in the bedroom window though for those who want to wake up later. They also had some cats which were amusing, but one particular one kept bothering us while we were eating. It is also not standard that the rooms are cleaned everyday, maybe have to be requested, however they have very reasonable laundry rates.

Nice large rooms as we took deluxe room. Lot of furniture. Good bed, bathroom amenities. Friendly staff, particularly the ones that provide breakfast and take care of parking your car are awesome. The room is kind of damp. May be a de-humidifier will help. AC did not do much. Also, for the trash there is only 1 bin provided in the bathroom. So, every time you have something small to discard, you will have to go to bathroom to discard.

This hotel is wonderful! It is clean, the rooms are great and very large. The staff is incredible as well. Service and friendliness are top priorities to them. I’d definitely stay here again!

Pleasant short stay with good room amenities but a ok breakfast. Overall I was disappointed with the room especially as I know it was one of the better suites. Good that I got the reservation reduced. The bed was extremely low, on just a mattress on a wooden floor. Ok if you’re young and staying for short time. Sadly the weather wasn’t at its best but got to view and experience the local attractions easily. Staff extremely nice and accommodating.

Tek kelime ile “mükemmel”.. Hizmet hep eksiksizdi, daima güleryüzlü, yardımsever personel görüyorsunuz. Otele girişten itibaren Türk Anadolu insanının konukseverliği, ağırlama kültürünü yoğun bir şekilde yaşıyorsunuz. Otel çok iyi konumda, manzarası süper, odalar büyük, ferah ve çok güzel dekore edilmiş… Serpme Kahvaltı muhteşem! Bol peynir, zeytin, reçel çeşitler var. Her gün değişik poğaça, börek çıkartıyorlar. Bakır sahanda omlet çeşitleri mükemmel… Menemeni enfesti! Resepsiyonda Ali bey işini çok severek yapıyor, çok ilgili birisi. Yabancı turistlerle çok güzel yönlendiriyor. Amazing stone hotel in Cappadocia

Karlik Cave is small boutique hotel in the Cappodocia area. We had a nice room, at two levels. Bed upstairs and going down stone stairs to the beautiful bathroom area. There is ground heating and also AC unit to adjust the temperature as you like. Staff were friendly and helpful. Orhun was a gentleman. He was fluent in English and helpful. We asked for Covid test to be done in hotel and he helped to organize that making our trip less stressful. At the time we needed negative test for domestic flight back to Istanbul. Our room included the breakfast which was amazing and I suggest. The room had a terrace and Jacuzzi inside and out side. Seating was available throughout multiple levels with view of gorgeous mountains and also we saw a few balloons passing by. There is also plenty of artwork in the hotel and very beautiful decoration.

We picked this hotel based on reviews and photos and we’re not disappointed. Great location right next to Uchisar Castle and close to all important highlights. From waiter to manager they were very helpful, willing and friendly. Don’t need to mention clean and well furnitured rooms but breakfast and lobby bar was exceptional. In the mornings omelette with special village cheese, in the sunny afternoons iced cold milkshakes and in the evenings Flat White Martini and Long Island Ice Tea are higly recommended. Thank you Karlik Cave Suite for unforgettable memories.

Otele girişte çok sıcak karşılandık ve talep ve isteklerimize yanıtları aynı şekilde oldu. Mütevazı ancak tertemiz bir otel. Biz bu anlamda çok memnun kaldık. Kahvaltısı güzel. Yeterli ve doyurucuydu. Bizim odamızın dışında da jakuzi bulunuyordu, ancak otelin terası dahil her yerden görüldüğü için kullanmayı tercih etmedik. Çok sessiz ve sakin, başbaşa kalmak ve kafa dinlemek için ideal bir otel.
