"Great hotel management. The hotel knows their clientele and adjust accordingly. The pool and hot tub are opened until 2am. They have sweatpants and sweatshirts for sale in the lobby. This was a lifesaver when we got into the hotel at midnight on the first day of summer and the temperatures were in the 40s with a high of 65. Good breakfast. Staff was efficient but not very friendly. Also loved 24 hour hot chocolate and hot coffee. Rooms were very clean."

"We had a great time on our UP vacation. The cabin had everything we needed, and the location was excellent because it put us within a half hour drive of most of the waterfalls, hiking and sightseeing we wanted to do. Our host was very knowledgeable of the area, and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Beautiful lake and views to be had here."

"Susan was an awesome host. Grand Marais is a quaint town. I would recommend bringing most of your food as there are few restaurants and the grocery store is small. The views of Lake Superior are tremendous and the rock hunting is amazing."

"Amazing place. Stayed with a group of 12 and everyone had their own bed and never got bored of things to do. Basketball, hot tub, card table, outdoor stuff nearby. Highly recommended"

"The property was easy to find. There were no food trucks but the driveway was visible. The cabin was neat and clean, just a few cobwebs and insects, but that's to be expected in the woods. We appreciated the wi-fi, TV & streaming to relax at night after a busy day. I was disappointed that there was no picnic table or other chairs outside. We wanted to make a fire at night but there was nowhere to sit. The water temp & pressure were unstable and made showering unpleasant. Overall it was a comfortable place to sleep while visiting the UP, just a few minutes drive from Munising and Pictured Rocks."

"A great woodsy escape. We stayed here with a 3 and 4 year old. The place was comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. We came in late May, and there were hardly any bugs out which was a nice surprise. The kids loved the play set and roasting s'mores. The stairs to the loft were steep which wasn’t ideal for our youngest. However, we didn’t have any incidents. We highly recommend pictured rocks pizza, By George Brewing, sand point beach, pictured rocks boat cruise, miners falls, sable falls, and log slide dunes."
