"Beautiful home in Grand Marais, just steps from Lake Superior! We really enjoyed our stay at "A Stone's Throw" Home was large, spacious, very clean and very well equipped with all the comforts of home! I was very impressed with how well stocked this home was with many toiletries and extras that was above and beyond what most rentals offer! Plenty of soaps, shampoo's, and paper products! Molly was very responsive in communication and answered all questions quickly! Molly was easy to work with and even very welcoming of our dog! Would definitely stay here again as it is a great location within walking distance to Lake Superior and Downtown Grand Marais! "

"Was there for snowmobile trip, only stayed 1.5 days of my planned 3 day trip, due to the incoming blizzard. Overall the place was nice. Only issue is the snowmobile trailer parking they advertise. Well its no good, and you can barely get to it with how they plow the snow. and once I was back there it was hard to get turned around and get back out. They do have ample parking, but where they want you to park you trailer just isint going to work. I think they should revisit their plans for parking, but otherwise a nice place to stay. "

"We’ve stayed in this house before and knew it would be perfect for a Snow Mobiling weekend with 3 other couples. What stands out about the house is that every little thing is thought of. The kitchen is fully stocked- crock pot, blender, Keurig, etc. The beds are so comfortable, the garage for the snow mobiles is soooo great, the game room is fun for everyone, the large kitchen table is appreciated for dinners and games, and the view is spectacular. We just love being there. Jd was so thoughtful to send us a map of the groomed routes each morning and it was just nice of him to send us a text to check in with us to let us know if we needed anything, he could help. "
