"After the challenges of checking in, this place was charming. Figured out how to walk into town. Nice breakfast. Charming host with limited English. Lovely old house full of antiques."

"Bedding and towels and toilet roll not replaced, only one pillow each and never anyone on the desk, you had to call a number to contact anyone. Over all it was clean and very well priced. No kettle or iron or hairdryer and shower gel provided was empty, smallest shower I’ve ever seen but good water pressure. "

We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. "Wonderful to experience one of these old farmhouse homes for the first time. Full of charm. Amazing old tiled breakfast room and very generous breakfast. A hiccup with finding the place but this was due to address on this website being wrongly listed by the tourist office as the road name had been changed. Local police most helpful, as was the kind local man who took us to the nearby police station. The Portuguese are wonderful people. The owner of the home was most courteous and spoke good...

"The location it was not where it supposed to be. I realy needed to stay in Nelas. In your site, the place is in Nelas. Thats the reason I booked at the first place. And even at the Google Maps it shows the place as it it in Nelas. But the fact is that it is not in the village I wanted. So I could not stay at the place. I had to move to another place with extra charge. I hope I could refund me because the information I had for the booking is not correct. Kind regards"
