"The Glidden House is a beautiful and well-kept property. It is very clean, the staff are great [friendly and helpful] and the breakfast is terrific. We stay here at least once a year. The surrounding area is safe and is surrounded by the Botanical Gardens, the Art Museum and a Natural History Museum, a University and is very close to the main campus of Cleveland Clinic."

"The room was very shabby. Vinyl covering of bed frames and headboards were peeled, the grout in the bathroom was blackened/brown, and there was a huge empty space in the room, practically big enough to play pickleball (some furniture may have been missing?)."

"Not great. The management informed us just minutes before we arrived that there was now only 1 working shower in the house for 4 adults. The house itself needs a serious head to toe cleaning! The closets and bathrooms were all crammed with “stuff”. As the first to shower on Sunday morning, at 5’2”, the shower head was too high for me to reach. It shot water high up against the back shower wall, about 8” above my head! The curtains in all bedrooms and baths offer no privacy! I could go on and on. We will NOT be back! Owners definitely need more experience with providing clean, secure and comfortable surroundings."

"Overall great stay. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The host was super communicative. The location was perfect for visiting the haunted house hotel for scary movie fans like my sister and I!"

"This is our second stay at the Carriage House and we choose it because of its proximity to the clinic and comfortable layout. It also is on one floor and there's only two steps into the property with close parking to your car. A kitchen is well stocked and the furniture very comfy. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to walk. Kristen is a lovely host and we plan to return. "
