"Loved the size of the room and the sea view from the balcony. Also use of large kitchen/sleeping room downstairs was great as able to prepare breakfast and also fresh tuna from the fish stalls that line the street. Garden lovely as was the pool. Property v secure.
From the photo I had imagined the property was right on the beach but it is across the road and it is not a 'tourist' beach at all. Not for those that want sunloungers, umbrellas and bars. One thing I would have appreciated was a...

Very good resort with one of the best pools I have ever seen. We only stayed for one night before our early morning departure out of Colombo. A few downsides - the reort is not very close to the airport and actually staying in Colombo city might take the same time. Very expensive airport transfers compared to others I saw but you have no choice but to take hotel transport because of its location.

The husband and wife owners went out of their way to look after us as soon as we arrived. They drove us places, cooked us a lovely breakfast and gave us alot of great advice when we first arrived in Sri Lanka. The hotel is very clean, modern and welcoming. A great place to stay.

A delightful, modern hotel to stay at before or after a flight. The staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious with plenty of amenities to make the stay comfortable. The luxurious king size bed and bathroom were excellent. The hot breakfast, of your choice, was delicious. We used the included drop off service to the airport 10 minutes away which made for a stress free stay.

Staff are very helpful. Easy for night or two / close to airport and town. Reasonable price. Nice breakfast and great stop over before heading to other parts of Sri Lanka. Certainly don’t need more than 1 full day in Negombo. Recommend

We only stayed here one night on our way out of Sri Lanka. A pity for us that we could not stay longer. Villa Hundira is a wonderful place. It's clear the owners have put a lot of time and effort into its development and the result is outstanding. Highly recommended
