"Perfect place for a weekend getaway. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We loved their dogs, and they were very friendly. You are staying on their property, so if you are not a dog person, this may not work for you. We had a wonderful time and would recommend."

"The AC didn't work. The front desk didn't answer calls to help. There was torn wall paper and visible shims (a florescent yellow yard stick) under furniture. The room was so warm I did not sleep."

"This is a nice property located very close to downtown Nashville and Brown County state park while also being in a quiet, peaceful setting. The cabin was comfortable and well maintained with everything you could need in the kitchen if you are going to be cooking. Overall, all the major things you would expect to be clean were. However, the longer we were there (3 nights) the more little things we began to notice that were missed; ceiling fans with heavy dust on the blades, bathroom fan covers, baseboards, etc. The hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms were empty and we had to find one in a cabinet to use. Only one garbage bag in the kitchen so we grabbed one from the game room trash can. Things like that. Minor issues that didn't bother us, but would make a difference to some others. The property is very steep, especially the drive up from the road. Depending on your vehicle you may have trouble. If you have issues with walking or balance you might have trouble as well.Overall, we enjoyed our time there and being able to relax and take in the quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to return and would recommend others give it a look."
