"It's a very low-key, quiet resort setting with a terrific beach, nice pool and tennis courts. This unit was very well appointed, with an updated feel, and nice decor. Amagansett and Montauk town centers are both short 10-15 minute drives but feel closer. If you want to stay all day at the resort, you can grab your favorite beach meal at one of the two walkable clam shacks just past the front entrance. This was our second stay at Ocean Colony and this particular unit made our second stay better than our first. "

"Nice property in an area that is crazy expensive. The hosts are warm and wonderful. We were there on a cold rainy summer weekend, and I was uncomfortable with the cold air that was fan-fed through vents throughout the house. Also had minor problems with the television in our room, and the darkness in the closed (no light). Breakfasts on both mornings were excellent. I expect that a sunny warm day would have been quite a different experience. "
