"Great little hotel in perfect walking distance to everything in Nancy! The staff was extremely helpful when we had questions and they have a huge fridge full of waters to grab a drink any time day or night. Absolutely lovely local hotel!"

"Great Location....5 min walk from Train Station...Very clean though typical European small rooms....Excellent Breakfast ...The Best part though was the Excellent and Attentive front desk Staff who also provided Bar and food service at Nite...I would especially like to commend Fadela, Fakhrieh, and Nicole . They are The Best !!!....We would Definitely chose this Property again !"

"Hotel was great. staff was excellent. location was great. Only slight negative was that breakfast was too pricey for what it was. I understand that given that it is a small hotel a buffet would be difficult to have. The preparation and delivery was inefficient, quality good. Reception staff was excellent. They personally walked me to and from the parking location upon arrival and at departure. Highly recommend . One of the nicest hotels in our month in France. Suite was large and extremely comfortable.Understand that this is an historical landmark that has be exquisitely restored and run as a high class small boutique hotel. Thank you for our experience"

"Nice big room with great view over Place de la Republique. Close to train station and easy walk to city center. Only problem was the plumbing. The shower had no door so we couldn't help but make a lake on the floor. Also, the shower valve was sticky and so many people had tried to force it, the whole piping system moved up and down in the wall. Anyway, if those issues are addressed, I would recommend this hotel without hesitation."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hôtel Littéraire Stendhal (with air conditioning thankfully). Our room was built directly adjacent to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation et Saint-Sigisbert. In fact, our hotel featured part of the exterior facade with two 18th-century baroque cherubs on our "wall." The staff and service was superb. We were amazed by how quiet the room was with a bustling café and busy street below. The breakfast offerings were delicious and well worth adding to our stay. We parked our automobile across the street at the Stanislas Parking, which was both convenient and cost-effective (unfortunately the parking elevator was out of service). Thank you for a great experience. We look forward to staying at Hôtel Littéraire Stendhal during our next visit to Nancy 🇫🇷"

"Yannick’s place truly surprised us. He thought of every little thing, every detail. Our room had coffee/tea, a welcome board with your name, a welcome snack, some candies, water in the room. There’s also snacks and drinks you can purchase for a fair price. There’s also bathrobes & house slippers should you need them. The garbage was taken out daily, the hallway lights turned on automatically when you pass, & there’s music in the bathroom! Our room had so much natural light coming in because of the big windows; it was great! Yannick was a great host, gave us a map & told us the highlights of Nancy. Staying with Yannick was actually better than some of the big hotels we stayed at in other parts of France."
