Excellent ski resort, wish they had more options to dine at, but other then that, staff very freindly and helpfull, especially Miss Liu. She was very helpfull with transportation and getting around. Definitely recommend this Resort.
Amazing traditional Japanese style room. Dated but very clean and comfortable with ski run views! The Onsen was great after a day skiing. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and included in the price ….. not fine dining but wholesome and something for everyone. Would definitely recommend.
This hotel is not as advertised on their website. It is a major tourist trap. The room was clean but very dated, as is the whole hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet was not good and the overall feeling of the hotel is strange. I did not want to use the onsen because it felt like it was very busy and maybe not the cleanest. I would definitely not stay here again. If you are looking for an upscale hotel at Cortina I would stay at Canopy.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
everything in the room is old, they need new beds, the mattress is old and you can feel the wires when you lay down. I would also recommend more international options for breakfast.
I was told to check out of my room and theb check in again because i made two different bookings though the booking was for consecutive days. I asked if the room will be a different room and I was told the room will be different. Yet after checking out at 10am and waited till after 3pm (i returned at 5pm)to check in again, I was put back into the same room and the roon was not even cleaned. Avoid this chain of hotel.
The hotel told me that because i had two seperate bookings between 22-25 and 25-26 dec, i had to check out on 25th befoere 11am and then check in again after 3pm. I was told I would be given another room. This morning i checked out at 10am and I just check in again at 5.30pm after having to loiter around a rainy day outside. I found out I was given back the same room and the room was not even cleaned!
They could have just allowed me to continue in the same room yet when I checked in they refused and insisted I check out on 25 Dec. I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
It's a stunning hotel from the time you roll towards Hotel Green Plaza. When you get inside, again some wow factors, some very old vintage structural engineering marvels which you have got to appreciate.
Ski-in-ski-out lockers for hotel guests are good, access to cortina is right out the door.
Buffet breakfast has a good selection, dinner is also good.
Can get extremely crowded during peak times.
Rooms are nice with a blend of tatami x western style bedding - however mattresses were quite old for our rooms. You can defintely feel a difference after skiing/snowboarding all day.
Location is a bit out of the way and buses can skip the resort so you should either have your own vehicle for convenience or need to plan very well for the shuttle bus.
Overall we enjoyed or stay
The property is not safe during COVID-19. It requires half-board, and continues to serve its meals indoors, via a buffet. Yes, they include disinfectant at the tables and provide people with plastic hand-coverings, but numerous studies show this is not enough and buffets are some of the most dangerous venues to contract COVID. They denied my request to eat meals in my room. In addition, the hotel does not adequately enforce mask usage -- many guests wear their masks below their nose and, in the ski locker room, are entirely maskless. Even worse, they still operate a smoking room where some guests huddle together in a small room and smoke cigarettes...during COVID!
This is such a great place to ski/snowboard. The hotel is great and has a lot of space, theirs a lot to do in the hotel also besides being outside in the snow. The onsen and massage is great also and add the breakfast and dinner to your stay, you won’t regret it! It’s very peaceful and relaxing and we enjoy coming here. Can’t wait to come back!
