The best time to visit Myrtle, West Virginia, is during the spring (late April to early June) and autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer the most pleasant weather conditions for exploring the region's natural beauty and outdoor activities.

Spring brings mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, and the landscape is lush with new growth. This is an excellent time for hiking, fishing in the Tug Fork River, and enjoying the scenic drives without the intense heat of summer. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, making for a more relaxed experience.

Autumn provides similarly comfortable temperatures, usually between 10°C and 20°C, and the region is renowned for its spectacular fall foliage. The hillsides transform into a vibrant display of reds, oranges, and yellows.
