"This was such an amazing location and beautiful experience. The place is super old which adds an immense character but at the same time there is a quirkiness and rustic quality that can be expected. The on-site food was beautiful although a touch on the expensive side (especially for children). It should be noted though that unfortunately the pool is only seasonal and wasn't available which was a surprise to us as it was a prominent feature in the listing. The mattresses were not the most comfortable."

"Very charming and exceptionally beautiful scenery. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer. It’s a bit rustic, but I enjoyed that about it. My only critique would be that it needs more pillows. Other than that it was fantastic, quiet, perfectly set in the Tuscan hills, and relaxing. It would be a good idea to bring groceries with you as there is not a way to get food conveniently without driving to a nearby town. Montalcino is just a 10-15 minute drive and charming and Siena is about 30 minutes away, but worth the drive to see the beautiful cathedral (one of my favorite sites I’ve seen during our trip)."

"Most beautiful property! Staff was incredible, kind and helpful. We ate at the restaurant both nights and it was delicious. Wait staff was the best! The owner even gave us rides back to our room. It was the most peaceful feeling to be there. Spacious, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a truly peaceful experience!"

"Our stay at Podere Cunina was everything we could have wanted in Tuscany. The sunsets were beautiful, the location had a beautiful pool, the gardens were gorgeous but the greatest part was Silvana and Giorgio and the love they have put into restoring this wonderful property from its days as a historic farm. They knew every bit about the area and were full of recommendations for things to do. One of the greatest things we did on our trip was the cooking lesson with Marcello. We learned to make Pasta, Meat Sauce, a Pork secondo dish and Tiramisu. Then the family ate it with us with some wonderful wine. They do not have a meal service on the property but the town of Buonoconvento was a 4 min drive to cafes and restaurants and a nice coop grocery store. Highly recommend "

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Silvana’s place in Tuscany. The grounds and apartment were immaculately clean. The views were breathtaking from everywhere on the property. The hosts were very inviting going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. By the end of our short stay they really felt like family! We also took the cooking class taught by their son which we enjoyed immensely and would recommend to anyone considering it! Do not hesitate to book this place! Would love to return in the future "

"Beautiful property with gorgeous views and plenty of space to swim and/or just relax. The apartment was charmingly Tuscan throughout and had all the necessities to enjoy your stay. The host was very responsive and connected us for wine tours in the area. Property is convenient to other local towns (Siena, and Montalcino, etc) that make fun day trips! A must go!"
