This is a wonderful B&B that is part of the historic district. Sloping uneven floors, which is the charm of having the chance to stay in a piece of history. A very comfortable room, with breakfast at a cafe nearby. Parking option is nearby, just talk with your host who is so helpful. Wonderful location to walk and enjoy all the town has to offer.

Fulvia was a great host. Place is close to everything. She let us check in early. Breakfast was not onsite but there are 2 places down the road to chose from for the included breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

Idolina was a great hostess. We had a flitch on our reservation and she went above and beyond to fix it for us. Very friendly, and professional. She was always ready to answer questions and offer assistance. We had the best experience ever in Montalcino, and Idolina connected us with great people and recommendations.

The room is in third floor without elevator and it is difficult for any seniors with a luggage. The room was cluttered with too many old things. Very small shower stall but it functions well. Heating works well. Very efficient and kind communications. Nice old kitchen in the second floor but we didn’t use it.

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. Our host was incredibly kind, greeting us early to get us out of the pouring rain. She was very thorough in recommending local places of interest and even provided umbrellas for our time in Montalcino. The rooms themselves are impressive—exceptionally large, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean.

Charing and cozy B&B in the heart of Montalcino. Parking available within a less than 5 minute easy walk. Fulvia is a great host, she will take care of you because.... she actually cares! Since the B&B is on the main (pedestrian) street of the town, we could hear some street noise but, at bet time, it became totally quiet. Highly recommended.

The room met our expectations. Fulvia welcomed us and provided all info we needed. She was lovely and the room spacious and cosy. The location was perfect for our needs and we were very pleased.

The rooms were lovely and the building is in the heart of the historic centre. We arrived very early, on a Sunday morning, in the pouring rain. Our host was so gracious and because we were able to drop our bags, we could go exploring and find a coffee (just down the street) umbrellas were available for use. There were some stores open as well. We had dinner at San Giorgio . A great meal and service was impeccable. We went at 7 pm but it got really busy after that. I'd recommend Idolina House because of the historic significance, lovely decorated and spacious rooms and personable experience.
