Lifts took forever to arrive, especially in the morning and bathroom smelt of urine any time you had a shower due to dodgy drains. Receptionist generally grumpy and did little as possible to assist us with other issues"

Staff occasionally difficult to get hold of via room telephone and requests required follow-up or some simple requests like asking for an apple apparently impossible, although we later found a free fruit bowl in the spa so that was fine. Check-in was great very helpful. Welcome email clearly AI generated (laughably over the top!) . Laundry fees extortionate so we went with a local launderette up the road (wash and dried for about £10 in just over an hour). Hotel fees are per item not per load and would have cost over £100 with hotel!!!!"
