"This is a beautiful, old, century hotel with authentic charm. The desk people (Sonia) were kind and helpful. Our room had a lovely view of the river. We could walk everywhere and really enjoyed what the city has to offer. Good value for our money. "

"Breakfast was excellent! Exceptional staff! Small pastry shop across the street had coffee available in the wee hours. A lot of small shops in the area were closed, so not a lot of tourist activity. Good walking shoes are a must for anywhere in Portugal! "

"The room was quiet, clean and pleasantly decorated. It was on the 4th floor at the back of the building. The location was easy to find in the heart of the attractions. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices. From afternoon to midnight there are pastries and beverages for free in the lounge."
