Staff is great! Property is beautiful. Be mindful to ask for a room away from a main hallway to avoid a little noise. For us, even so, it was very nice. Note: if you want to swim indoors bring a bathing cap. Outdoors not needed but indoors we were limited by this!

The hotel was in a location that was walkable to the main tourist area of Coimbra. The hotel was lovely and had fabulous gardens to walk through as well as a lovely spa, indoor pool and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool was suitable for lap swimming and it was a treat to exercise. The restaurants had nice options for dining. The history of Pedro and Ines was an added bonus.
