"We loved our stay here. The location was good in terms of not being too far from downtown Puebla and Cholula, and across the street (accessible by a bridge over heavily trafficked highway) was a commercial center with a place to change money and a cafe. The hotel property has a lovely pool area with places to sit in the sun or shade. Our "suite" was very comfortable, with 2 beds in one room and a separate area with kitchenette & sitting area with tv & sofa. Everything was clean and comfy, but some things need to be updated. The table was stained (not dirty, but stained from use) and the cushions on the sofa were discolored. However, the furniture in the lobby areas was very attractive and inviting.
The only negative in our suite was the bathroom. The shower floor was so slippery I feared falling, and there were no grab bars. The shower stall door did not close fully, so water got on the bathroom floor and made that floor slippery.
Breakfast, which costs about 20 dollars per person, is well worth it -- a quesadilla bar where you can order what you want the cook to prepare for you; a juice bar with variety of fresh juices; main dishes buffet style including standard like scrambled eggs as well as traditional Mexican dishes; a bread and pastry selection that included things like chocolate croissants! They serve until noon, so we made it our one meal of the day.
I would definitely stay here again, hopefully with more time to enjoy the pool and breakfast!"
"All good things here. Rooms are clean, spacious and modern. Desk and housekeeping staff always kind and helpful. Wonderful rooftop restaurant with views of city and distant mountains and elegant table side preparation of several dishes. Finish with Crepes Suzette for an amazing desert and show. Le Pain Quotidian is another dining option right next door. We usually went in for coffee and pastry but had full breakfast on one occasion, which was excellent. Very nice big park with water features, walking paths, athletic track, benches and picnic tables. Not walkable to Centro, but easy $4 Uber. I know I am leaving a lot out - can't say enough good things about this Radisson Hotel. Expectations exceeded. "
"The free breakfast is a very limited selection, and the buffet is only available for an extra cost. Our son was excited about a pool and a hot tub, but neither were very well kept, and the hot tub did not work. There was a bathtub which we wanted, but there was not enough hot water to actually have a hot bath. The beds and the room were nice, but not for what I paid, could have stayed at a hotel without a pool or hot tub at a much lower price as we could not use these here anyway. Of course, that is just one opinion out of how many that others that share their opinions as well. "
