"The room was spotless clean. The mattress was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful.The restaurant and every inch of the Hotel was very ,very clean,and the grounds are beautiful. The free breakfast was great with delicous bread and cheese, fruit,meats,eggs ,yoghurt and other deliciousl swiss foods. The only negative comment I have is about the shower ,but it was managble. I highly recommend this hotel. It is in a very beautiful, quiet town with easy highway access. "

"Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Unique hotel with very cool antique furniture, which was a nice touch. Very interesting decor and lots of attention to detail as well. Our stay felt like being transported back in time! Dinner here was a culinary experience. The chef and staff were excellent and the meal was superb. And breakfast was awesome! It’s important to note that the food is also locally sourced and homemade, and delicious too! Only drawback was that the beds and pillows weren’t very comfortable - stiff mattress and pillows. "

"It was perfect, clean, practical and stunning views all around. Host was communicative, and there is a little grocery store súper close with staples, we were able to make our own food. The gondola ride to kids park was awesome and its a neat and picturesque destination."

"Hosts Ines and Hans are very lovely and welcoming. Very lovely house in the mountains with everything you need. The house is split in to two sides. It has everything you need: well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a toilet, three bedrooms. Just bear in mind that house is only accessible via gondola. You need to leave your car in a parking garage and get a gondola up to the house. The area is very good and the views are amazing. We had an amazing time! "

"We cannot say enough good about this place. Our one regret is that we did not stay longer. The location is peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we had imagined a stay in the mountains in Switzerland would be like. The apartment itself was impeccably clean; we didn't find a speck of dust. The apartment is spacious as well. Two bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen and living room... Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. We had plenty of clean bath and kitchen towels. Vrenny, our host, was welcoming and warm despite our language barrier. One thing to be aware of is that it's an 11 minute drive up the mountain from Stansstad. The last half of the drive is on a one lane, two direction road that is sometimes blocked by cows. Part of the charm for sure. We loved our stay and have been thinking about it since we left. We should have stayed longer. And if we decide to travel back to Switzerland any time soon we will definitely include this farmhouse in our itinerary."
