"This place is much smaller than advertised. The reception desk is a tiny table right under the stairwell! The rooms are small. The rooms are very old (in desperate need of remodeling) and use the old fashioned method of requiring you to place your room key in a slot to get light. The hallway is very dark. For safety reasons, the lights should always remain lit. You shouldnt step off the small elevator and be plunged into darkness. The best hope they have is to reimagine themselves as an elegant boutique hotel. There are cards in the room that state you will get a complimentary tote bag. When we asked the manager about this she seemed puzzled by this and then said she didnt have any. The breakfast not only looked stale but despite the fact that we were paying customers the lady monitoring the check in list said she couldnt find our names "

"This is a great area to stay in Paris! You can walk to many attractions or easily hop on the subway. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Room had poor circulation, we went in mid April and it wasn't hot outside but given how small the room is, we made sure AC was an option before booking, but apparently they only turn it on later with higher temperatures. We tried turning on the fan just for circulation, but hot air came out making the room even stuffier. We opened the window throughout our entire stay and saw our next door do the same daily. The problem here is that Europe doesn't have bug screen so it's a fully open window.. The hotel was nice overall but due to the poor circulation, I wouldn't return, even the toilet room was very stinky (again poor circulation)."

"We really had the best time staying 4 nights at Novotel Paris, my kids loved it too. The free breakfast was good and it's a 15- munute walk to the Eiffel tower so we went to the tower every afternoon to end the day. Our room was cleaned everyday. The only thing I don't like is that the sink was separated from the restroom, but that is not a big issue really. There is also a water refilling station which we used everyday. The lobby is always clean and they have 6 elevators so it is very convenient! Our room also has the view of the Siene River so it's beautiful at night! "

"We spent 3 days at the Novotel. The place was spotless confortable with very friendly and helpful staff. Métro station was only a couple of minutes away, and the area itself was really peacefully compared to a more touristy location. Great neighborhood and parks around including park "George Brassens" and"La coulée verte" a former train track redesigned as a linear park. We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel."
