Citrus Valley Motel

"Excellent place. Had hand wash, a kettle, washing detergent, microwave, fridge (freezer was only cold though), air con (untested), tv (untested). Convenient place, only 15 minute walk to Parkrun. Only gripe is that kettle can only be filled from shower as bathroom sink is too small to fit, but shower had adjustable spray."
Private mooring with access to the main river, just 75 metres away.

"We stayed for 2 nights in July. We enjoyed great sunny weather for the most part. The clouds gathered on the Saturday afternoon and I think we had about 10 minutes of rain, then the skies cleared again (The photo is from the Saturday afternoon).Riverland winters are usually 16-19 and mostly sunny. Crisp mornings with the river glassy and covered in fog. Clear skies at night are an expected treat, sitting around the fire watching the stars - if you don't know about the River Murray Dark Sky Reserve, search it up. Soooo many stars.The house was well equipped to handle our group of 10 our friends dog. Everything clean and tidy. Two massive fridges and a well stocked kitchen with induction cooktop, plus two BBQ's and an outdoor fridge cater for large groups. Massive lounge area and plenty of room for inflatable beds if you have a huge group. We asked if we could set up tents outside in case our boys wanted the outdoor experience, and we were told anywhere but on the grass. Good phone coverage and internet so you can stay connected (if you really need to). The beds were terrific with electric blankets. Late check out was granted. Communication was excellent.I want to live there and our friends are already planning the next trip!!"

"Exceptionally clean property with beautiful river views. Easy check in. Comfortable bed with lovely linen. Only issue being the original place we booked was swapped out due to spa heater issues. I agreed to the swap not realising I was also missing a bath in the alternative property. I chose the accommodation because I love outdoor hot tubs and free standing baths. Never mind. Still has a relaxing time. Only other thing to note is limited dining options especially on a Sunday. The list of places in the welcome folder was out of date, more than half now closed. The pub had decent pub food, but there were no fine dining options close by."

"The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the property is very well located. The water was turned off which was communicated to us, but once turned back on the shower was not working. As we didn’t find this out until after closing time we couldn’t get it seen to that night. Otherwise there was no problems with the room"
