Romantic Mountain Chalet with Stream & Gazebo

This gorgeous chalet in a beautiful park-like setting is located in a small mountain town Murphy nestled in the Western NC Mountains. The beautifully furnished and elegantly decorated cabin features hardwood flooring throughout the cabin, high-vaulted pinewood ceiling, a spacious master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath. The guest room has a queen-size bed and a full bath off the hall. Large windows offer beautiful views of the peaceful setting and the gazebo.

There are many lakes around the area with picnic spots and walking trails. The beautiful Cherokee Lake is only minutes away by car. You can rent a boat, take a walk in the forest, relax on the porch, or listen to the running stream on the bench in the gazebo. Come to enjoy the sounds and views of nature and relax in our beautiful mountain retreat. A wonderful place for a romantic getaway or a perfect family vacation!

Presidents day weekend

The property was very nice. Great location close to Murphy townBlue Ridge and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The host were very nice and responsive. We would love to come back.

Perfect ! Highly recommend!

My husband and I have friends that live in and around the Murphy area so we decided to go spend the holidays with friends and enjoy a relaxing mountain Christmas. Mission accomplished! The cabin location is perfect, very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely a 5! This cabin was beautiful when we walked in. It was so clean and we loved how it was decorated. We especially loved the property because we could hear the water gurgling in the stream at the back of the yard. Loved the quietness of the location! Would love to come back.

Just a quick trip

I've stayed here several times over the past 17 years. This cabin has always been a great get away when the group only needs 2 bedrooms. The listing is accurate, the house is clean, it is close to town and things to do. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Amazing Chalet in which to stay

A beautiful mountain chalet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Clean, comfy and cozy. I highly recommend it as a place to stay when visiting southwestern North Carolina. Murphy was a real surprise. It is a charming town with good eateries and shops. Well worth a several day visit.

Our North Carolina Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. We took a trip to Helen one day. Had a very delicious Pan Fried trout dinner. We spent ever day playing our favorite game of Canasta! Sad to say today we are heading back to sunny Florida. Thank you Lillian & Bill for everything!

Such a nice getaway

Everything was exactly as it looked online. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. My family and I loved staying in a place that was more comfortable and convenient rather than a hotel room where we would all be bunched up together. This was my first time staying in a place other than a hotel and I would absolutely do it again. It's like having the convenience of being at home with all the necessary things you would need. Loved it!

Restful and relaxing

We had a nice pleasant stay. We loved the deck with the creek running through the back of the property. It was nice and shady, loved the mature trees. The layout of the chalet was nice and well decorated, I was not crazy about the slip covered sofa. It took away from the room and the slip cover would get in an uncomfortable mess and I constantly had it fix it but other than that the rest of the chalet was fine.

The cabin was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was the couch was very uncomfortable. The weather was very nice so we really enjoyed the deck. We had a very good meal at Julie"s Place.
