Great hotel for a weekend trip great location close to town

Location and breakfast was great. However, the triple twin bed room's decor and mattresses were subpar. The price charged nightly for the room did not correlate with the cheap and minimal decor that resembled a hostel and lack of amenities. No shower cap, qtips, etc, no ironing board, very tiny bathroom for three people nad very cheap hairdryer.

Fab view of canal from room but room was TINY - and this was the standard canal view room not the small canal view room. No space to open suitcases on the floor but loved the little stools in the window to watch the canal life go by. Bathroom was beautifully done but miniscule - barely enough room to turn around (felt like camper van bathroom). Wall paint and decor was old and needs updating. Staff were really nice and loved the boutique feel of it with cute bar and older building. Fantastic location within walking distance (10-15 mins) to central station and down the canals. Very pricey for such a small room but nice to be on the canal.

While this is certainly a no frills hotel, it is also one that fits the bill. Good sized room, friendly hotel staff, good breakfast options, excellent location to walk or catch public transportation to the sights. There are restaurants and a grocery store on the block. The 397 bus drops you very close to the hotel from the airport. All in all, a really good place to stay!
