Wonderful host and a cozy apartment

We stayed in Monika’s apartment for five weeks and honestly could not have asked for a better place. The apartment felt like home from the very beginning. It was calm, cozy, and perfectly located. The neighborhood is peaceful, just a short trip from the center of Munich and only a few minutes walk from the forest. It truly offers the best of both worlds.What really made our stay special was Monika herself. She is incredibly kind and welcoming, and we are so grateful we had the chance to meet her. She made our time in the area even more enjoyable and memorable.

Perfect Stylish Home Getaway 10 Minutes from Munich City Center

This unique property 10 minutes outside of Munich Marienplatz in the peaceful community of Gräfelfing. A 5 minute walk from the s-Bahn (S6), with a great bakery, post office, and grocery store along the way, the S-Bahn was easy to navigate even during the very busy Oktoberfest. The house was very stylish and unique, reflexing the personality of Monika the host, with many areas to relax inside and out. Monika was very helpful and accommodating to our needs, including leaving lights on and food in the fridge since we arrived very late by Train, giving directions and recommendations, and even showing us her wonderful work and business which was showcased for Oktoberfest. Please know that this home is also her business, and so there were some delivery and pickups of her products while we were staying there, however it was not an inconvenience or disturbance at all as Monika has the home setup very well with a lovely foyer for deliveries. I'd like to also note that while the listing shows a washer/dryer, they are in the basement which is off limits. Monika generously had her maid/housekeeper do our laundry for us while we were out touring. Also, while Munich is the main attraction, if you stay with Monika, take some time to enjoy the local restaurants and pubs in Gräfelfing - truly delicious and you'll get the real local culture! Monika, thank you for your kindness and hospitality!
