The rooms are vary spacious and the restrooms have been remodeled in the last few years. The atmosphere is vintage and comfortable, very warm, comfortable and feels lived in. The decor is very home-away-from-hone and all of the staff are super friendly and attentive. Recommend to travelers.

Small, little older but comfy hotel in great part of Munich. Staff really helpful and accommodating. Helped us arrange early early morning airport transit. Little strange collection of art work, but gives it character.

The hotel is only a block or so from the University, where I had to attend a couple days of meetings, so the neighborhood is very lively with young people. But it is also a short (15 to 20 minutes) walk to the old town center of Munich. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast buffets were included and were outstanding. Parking is a big plus and not too expensive (12 euros per night), but be sure to request it in advance. Do not count on street parking!

Hidden gem

I stayed at this hotel for a 1 night business trip. The entrance/reception is a little hidden on the second floor. Check-in was crowded, but the hotel was incredibly accommodating when I requested a quiet room to do work since my stay was during the excitement of Oktoberfest. The hotel is conveniently surrounded by restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The room was nice and clean, but more importantly quiet for me. Breakfast was good as well (assorted meats, cheeses, breads, vegetables, eggs, coffees, teas, jams, etc.) served in an airy window filled room overlooking the garden. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient location and low price but that’s about it. You definitely get what you pay for. Clogged drain, Wi-Fi didn’t work, old fixtures, and all around just not well kept. Oh and the cleaners opened the door without knocking Frist. Fine for a night or two if you’re on a tight budget but I wouldnt recommend it.

Not worth it

The room smells very bad. The floor in our room makes a weird noise while we walk. If you have a car park on the hotel, you can't leave or come back after 9pm. They close the doors and dont give you a key to open. I don't recommend this hotel.

Simply no, never again. The only good thing was the room size, the overall state was rather sad, the pictures seem fake showing the opposite building. Not much seems to have been done in the place for a long time, staff is not particularly helpful or friendly. A sad experience when you have to dread going back to the hotel..

Great location poor upkeep

Beautiful location with lots of restaurants and close to the Ubahn(underground train). Stayed in room 35 on the front building. That building was dated and an eyesore inside. They were a fowl oder emmunating from the toilet that can make you cry. We brought it to the From desk attention but nothing was resolved.. The sink was actually below the television hanging on the wall as you will see and add pictures to follow. The breakfast option is pretty good that's was a plus. All in all if you do decide to stay here request the 2nd building at the back it looks more modern cleaner cleaner but I probably would not come back to this location because of my experience

Disappointing stay.

Absolutely not recommendable. We booked 2 premium double rooms in this hotel for the only reason of having air conditioning in the rooms but we found none of this in both rooms that we booked. Hotels.com helped us through this problem but the hotel denied partial refund. We were given a coupun by hotels.com, thanks for all your help. but if we knew we would have booked another hotel. Also we had a problem with hot water. We showered with cold water for 3 days out of 4. When we complained we were told that they have checked it and found no problems. But then they told us that maybe the hot water has been used up. Bathroom sink of room 113 was blocked for all our stay. I have complained also but problem remained. No privacy at all , terraces are linked with no privacy area. Moreover no security as the terraces can be accessed from the fire exit, even from public. Such a pity for this hotel since rooms are very big and did not expect these problems at all. We spent so much time of our holiday on the phone trying to solve the problems. Cleanliness was also not so good. Buffet breakfast is pretty good and with a variety of pastries. Rooms size and breakfast are the only thumbs up for this hotel.

Situata a circa 20min a piedi dal centro di monaco. Zona tranquilla ma camere molto rumorose si sente qualsiasi cosa fanno le camere adiacenti...dal wc alle docce. Pulizia molto carente. 10min a piedi dalla prima metro (università). A un minuto disponibile un piccolo supermarket. Ci tornerò probabilmente ma con delle salviette igienizzanti per le pulizie minime indispensabili

Es gab kein warmes Wasser zum duschen oder Zähne putzen. Das konnte vor unserer Abreise auch nicht in Ordnung gebracht werden. Es wurde auch kein alternatives Zimmer angeboten um dirt wenigstens duschen zu können. Für diesen Preis echt enttäuschend.

L'hotel è datato. Le aree in comune sono sporche e rovinate. La camera al contrario era in ordine, ma molto piccola. Ci sono 8 posti auto(di cui 4 interratti) far manovra è da panico molto stretto. La colazione di qualità medio bassa e molto limitata. Al momento della pulizia da parte del personale si trovano le lenguola buttate a caso ei corridoi dei vari piani dell'hotel. Una notte è suonato l'allarme antincendio e il personale non sapeva neanche il perchè e non dava nessuna indicazione e soprattutto non si è scusata. Non ci tornerei.
