Bayer’s city hotel is right next to the train station which attracted me because my daughter and I needed to ride to Vienna after Munich. Since it’s near the train station my daughter felt it was shady. Nothing happened and there were lots of tourist but there were adult entertainments around and the usual suspects. Other than that, it’s supper close to Munich old center, underground shopping, and bunch of restaurants. Price was good and nothing bad to say regarding the hotel.

Great place for Central Munich

Great stay near Munich central station. Was only here for 24 hours but it was a great spot that allowed for easy access to Old Town Munich and much of the central sites.

We had a fantastic stay. Great location close to the Munich Central Station. Amenities were clean and modern! Staff was friendly and helpful! My only very small complaint was 10:30 pm shower ran out of hot water! Would still highly recommend.

The staff were amazing and very friendly, the beds were comfortable. The 2 things which let this hotel down were the area around was rough and also the shower had glass on the side were the beds were (this was in a twin room) which made it uncomfortable to shower in

It's a nice hotel with clean rooms and good staff but the area around it is noisy and dirty. If you are a heavy sleeper and don't mind dirty streets around then you're all okay. Otherwise it might be worth paying more to do elsewhere.

Poor experience but cheap

Relatively cheap hotel but poor experience overall. Shower was unintuitive to use and bed layout was strange (just one small pillow and decorative pillows, not a typical large pillow you'd expect). At least it was quiet.

The hotel was clean, the reception staff was informative and available. I would recommend this hotel because there are local coffee shops, restaurants, and the neighborhood at night is safe.
