Lovely hotel
Very pleasant stay. Stayed there for 13 days. From day 1 until the last day the stay was very comfortable. Clean, service, food every bit of the stay was very good. The staff and the managers were always welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast was also amazing. Definitely recommend this hotel to all.

Service was good but the hotel deserves a 3 rather than a 4 star rating. The rooms and furniture are old, the blanket cover was torn and the mattresses were too soft and unsupportive.

Stay at Your Own Risk
The Empressa Hotel is not good for business travel. There is no business centre in the hotel and meetings in room are not allowed. The staff is not well versed with hospitality sector and their behaviour is not good. The open air restaurant is a big risk if you are a vegetarian. The staff served me non-veg food though I had ordered vegetarian dish during my last stay here.

It was ok ok situation.
No greetings or welcome at reception. Waited long time to check inn. Rooms is not that great. Mattress are not comfortable. Toilet and toiletries are not up to the mark. House keeping was good enough to stay. Linens were good but not Bath towels and napkins at vanity.

Beautiful Hotel with Amazing Breakfast
Empresa Hotel is beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and close to shops and restaurants. Very disspointed with Wifi we were 5 people in total in 2 rooms and was given wifi for 1 person per room, general standard with hotels around the world is 2 per room. Empresa really need to change this. We asked for an extra bed and this was ready when we checked in and we had to wait so long. Also felt amenties like toilet paper, soap, towels was very limited in our room when we had 3 people in 1 room and staff and management were aware of this. Toilet paper quality can be improved as this is lovely fancy hotel and the toilet paper received is quite poor.We had to constantly ask for these small items whereas housekeeping should of been notified. Breakfast was fabulous and so prompt. If you order from their menu it came out so quickly and was very delicious. Staff working at breakfast were so helpful some names Vishal H and Praveen. Music playing during breakfast was great and the atmosphere is there and helps you start the day feeling energic. Rajan was so lovely and very helpful with organising our Uber and helping with our luggage. Staff are amazing and help you. Overall beautiful hotel extremely clean with efficient staff and spacious rooms.

Neat, modern hotel in northern Mumbai
The hotel itself is very nice - modern, neat and spacious rooms that are in good condition. Comfortable beds, complimentary water. Only minuses were that shower water took a while to heat up and the key cards reset very easily. The ground floor restaurant and terrace was very nice. Very good breakfast with a small buffet of juices, bread, fruits, muesli etc and to-order plates of local and western breakfast foods. The overall service was very kind and polite, though occasionally slow e.g. with the breakfast service, with mixed up orders. It also took some time to restock e.g. toilet paper to the room. Nevertheless, would recommend if looking to stay in this area!

Lot of service issues like no towels or bathrobe (not provided even after complaining) Layer of dust on furniture. Torn bedsheets. Issue with the door lock for 4 days in a row and could not be resolved. Limited food options in room service.

not an exciting area but a nice hotel

Much to like... but promise unfulfilled
If you have business in Mumbai Andheri West... the Empresa is one of only a few 4-star Western-style hotels available. There are some real positives here; The food items we ordered were delicious... the shower is world class (heat and water flow), and the bed large and comfortable. The room itself is very modern, even if a bit compact... (I'm going to find where to purchase a duplicate of the LED floor lamp!) The only downsides are operational: The restaurant, somewhat isolated on the 2nd floor, only opens for dinner at 19:30... the available option is to have the excellent food delivered by room service. The rooftop pool and deck can be nice when the weather cooperates, but there is no obvious way to get a refreshing beverage ordered or delivered there. (No phone... No staff... No service) The open ground floor patio across from the lobby is cool and inviting, with a tall 'green wall' behind it... and although it seems set-up for casual service... there does not seem to be any menu or signs indicating what might be available. The housekeeping staff did a nice job of actually making-up the room... but had to be asked repeatedly for a floor towel, occasionally for more TP, and did not seem to know the difference between facial tissue (soft) and the identically-sized paper hand towels (NOT soft). ...my nose certainly did! With attention to aligning the operational aspects with the marketing message, the Empresa could easily get to a 5-star rating.

Smallest hotel bathroom I've ever seen. Bathroom towels were beach towels. Several bugs in the room. Window frame was aged and dirty. The poor quality of this hotel was evident all around. And they wouldn't allow me to cancel my second night at the hotel when I decided to move to a different hotel.

Extra charge at check out
They did not allowed me to check in early despite it was already close to noon. They charged Rs. 2000 at my check out, which supposed to be hold as deposit and now I have to spend time talking to my bank and write to them to dispute this. Total waste of time. Breakfast was at 7.30am, never encounter hotel offering this late.

Not impressed with Empressa
The building was good, looked impressive as did the decor. All else was not so good. Check in was lengthy, Took them a while to find our booking. When we came back late that night, the night clerk informed us that there would be an extra charge for the third person even though we had booked a room for 3 people, Had to call the website I had used for the booking the next morning and they straightened it out with the hotel. Annoying to have to waste time doing this. The rooms and bathrooms were small and the mattress sagged. We stayed for 3 nights, The first night we had one towel in the bathroom, the next night we had two, never did we have three though we were 3 in the room. There was only one small roll of toilet paper, each night we had to call and request another one from housekeeping. It came quick but again, annoying. The towels were of terrible quality. We stayed at lovely hotels during our trip to India, unfortunately this was not one of them.

Not impressed with the Empressa
There were 17 light switches in my room. I spent far too much time turning on various light switches, and trying to figure out what switch went to which light. I never did figure out most of the light switches. I could have really used 2 bath towels in the bathroom, instead of just one. The bathroom was very small, and never enough toilet paper until I asked for more rolls. For the amount of money I paid for this room per night, it simply was not worth it to me.

Nice stay with very welcoming staff. However, the breakfast requires upgrade; so is the Wi-Fi in the room. Otherwise, happy to have stayed there.
