Yachtsman Suite – Nautical Coastal Stay in Historic Old Town

"We booked for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location of the townhome was perfect for walking and exploring Marblehead. The owners were incredibly transparent and informative throughout our stay. They informed us of construction and arranged for parking. The home itself was clean and quaint! We will be back to visit!"

"This was an excellent location for a girls’ trip to Salem! It was super close to without being in the thick of the crowds and a short Uber drive away. We each had our own room (4 of us) and shared the two bathrooms. You have to walk through one of the downstairs bedrooms to go upstairs (which is also where both bathrooms are) so just a note if you’re traveling with other folks you don’t know well. We had plenty of rooms to spread out and not be right on top of each other. There was a lovely seating area outside and the kitchen had everything we needed to make coffee and snacks while we were home. There’s a lovely market around the corner within walking distance, as well as a CVS, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping! I recommend the Hidden Door speakeasy which was a fun and super close place to end one of our evenings. Magical!Also, we 100% love love loved Marblehead. The town was precious and the people were delightful and I can’t wait to go back with my family. A small water taxi runs from Salem to Marblehead starting October first and it was another one of my favorite things we did. The ferry owners were on our taxi with us and offered to give us a lift from the wharf to the VRBO. It was the nicest slice of Americana you could ask for. If you’re debating visiting stop what you’re doing and just do it! Take the trip, stay in this VRBO and have amazing memories for years to come."

"Beautiful and cozy cottage!I honestly could not have decorated this cottage any better myself! Every little detail was absolutely beautiful, from the floral curtains and gorgeous wooden beams to the fresh flowers on the table and the beautiful gold cutlery. The cottage was warm, cozy, and inviting, and you could tell so much thought and care went into making it special.The little extra touches made our stay even more wonderful. The Halloween pumpkins, cookies, and mints were such a sweet surprise, and the cottage had absolutely everything we needed and then some! Even the clock that charges your phone and tells you the temperature and the espresso machine were thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special.The location was perfect, too, with a great distance from Salem, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.We also had a delayed flight and ended up arriving late, so we truly appreciated the understanding and hospitality of our hosts. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, comfortable, or welcoming place to stay. I would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area, and I would happily stay here again!"
