"Room was excellent. It had a small couch and small table to have a small snacks. You can use a beitiful local crafted glasses.
Easy to go to Nebuta museum, Wa Rasse and ASPAM. Also, near the donwtown area.
Walking distance from Aomori station.
We loved the staybat this hotel."
"This is your typical APA experience, although the room was bigger than the ones in the APA hotels in Tokyo. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the expected amenities. The location was right in the middle of downtown, where you have the main street full of shops. It's also minutes away from Aspam. The Aomori train station is walkable as well. Theres also a bus stop nearby where the airport bus stops. A Lawson convince store is found across the street."
"I stayed here for 4 days in November.
The hotel is a short walk away from Aomori train station, close to several combini and surrounded by restaurants.
My room was fairly small but more than adequate for a solo traveller, although if you have a lot of luggage space may be a little limited. I liked the fact that the wondow in the room opens as I hate sleeping in an overly warm room.
I liked the bathroom unit, where I could shower without needing to climb into the tub.
The room had a mini fridge and kettle. The usual bathroom supplies that Japanese hotels almost always supply are available in the lobby, including slippers and bath salts. Hotel wifi was excellent.
The hotel has 2 washing machines plus 2 dryers and they worked well when I used them a couple of times. There is also an ice machine and vending machine with a variety of drinks. In the hotel room was a reusable water bottle and there are water dispensers on each floor, which I thought was a much better idea than providing free water in plastic bottles.
Breakfast is in a lovely large room and the variety of food available was impressive and of good quality.
I'd happily stay in this hotel again if I return to Aomori."
"The front desk staff and all the supporting staff including the dining room were fantastic We thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen. The breakfast and dinner were phenomenal and classic Japanese. The Japanese style rooms are fairly sparse and simple. Overall, a wonderful experience. The source of first trip to Japan and our first time staying in Ryokan Onsen but surely won’t be our last. Thanks to Mr. Suzuki and staff for a very memorable experience."
"This property is adequate following the pictures and description but be aware that it is an entire apartment building and the owner might shift you to a different room based on the size of your group. The only negative would be that cigarette smoke gets trapped in the building easily, so you may need to open the windows to vent the smell if it bothers you.The view from the roof is spectacular, and the city bus is about a five minute walk from the property. There is also a combini within a few minutes, so that makes travel snacking easier. Aomori lets you use IC cards for the busses so getting around is easier but be sure to preload your card or prepare to walk to a train station. We visited in the warm months so cannot comment on the heating, but our room had a kerosene furnace so it likely is quite toasty during those months."
