"Restaurant on-site required reservation so could not dine there. Fortunately, the staff who handled our check-in gave us very good suggestions on where to dine as we reached the hotel after 8 pm. Complimentary water, apple juice and cookies were nice extras. Liquid soap, shampoo, etc., were good and produced locally. Beds and beddings were very comfortable"

The Japanese style rooms are fairly sparse and simple. Overall, a wonderful experience. The source of first trip to Japan and our first time staying in Ryokan Onsen but surely won’t be our last.
