Awesome house in Kennebec Valley. Dog Friendly! OUTDOOR FUN! w-Wifi!
10/10 Excellent
"Annual deer camp. Really neat camp. Slept 4 and 5 of us really well. Very impressed by how well stocked the house was with things like linens, paper products and kitchen supplies. The only trouble is access. Its built into a hillside so all entries are stairs. We had snow, which we look forward too but outside entries iced up leaving the interior garage stairs. The stairs inside the garage are narrow and steep. You get used to them but theyre tricky for the older crowd. Listing should note the pictured wood stove is not for use. My group and I burn wood at home and were looking forward to warm up by the fire as we often do after a daybin the woods, but its use was not permitted. Totally get it, most people cant be trusted in a pine camp with open flame.Again, neat spot, very comfortable, met our needs very well. If we hunt the forks again, we'll be back!"
"Cabin was exactly as it was described. The host, Tara was available whenever needed throughout our stay. Beautiful weekend away in Maine to see the lake and fall foliage! "
Quiet and Cozy, close to trails, lake and shops. TV in Every Room.

"This place was so clean! New stuff! It was awesome! The host was wonderful! Always answered anything and was so accommodating! We will go back next yr or maybe even sooner! I highly recommend this! Plenty of room. Walk down over the hill and a little beach on the lake. Could walk to town. But tucked back enough. Not noisy at all! I’ve gained a new friend!"
Cozy Cabin with Access to Beautiful Moosehead Lake. Pet friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"This was described as a “Cozy Cabin” and the description is true. The cabin was warm and inviting. It has everything you need and more. The kitchen has everything you could need …. appliances, glassware and utensils. The bed was very comfortable. The living area is stocked with board games, cards and a DVD player with a varied selection of movies. The shower door was a little tricky, but it came with instructions. I didn’t use the wood stove, the fire pit or the barbecue, but it was good to have the options. In short, the cabin is “fully loaded”. The location in amazing and I was lucky enough to see it at it’s autumn best. The lake is close by, accessible and beautiful. The view is also incredible at night, no light pollution to interfere with the night sky. The town and various other opportunities for fun are close by … a moose safari, boat rides, plane rides snd more. There is a lot to in any season in the area.I only had a few questions while I was there and the responses to my texts were quick.I hope to get back here again soon. "
